" Let's go and check." Jackline and Miranda went ahead to inspect. Indeed the body was not in good shape or to be precise the Limbs were not in a good shape and it was evident that somebody had forcefully pulled them out of the body.
" What kind of animal thing is this? I don't think even animals can get so cruel like this murderer is." Miranda seethed in anger while she mentioned. Not only it was hard for them to get a hold of this murderer but not to mention that there were other possibilities of others getting harmed in this scenario as well. The security was supposed to be tightened whenever there were raises in cases. In this particular case there was something that was very unusual in its own self.
" It is indeed an animal attack." Jackline commented while she covered her nose and looked at the body in front of her with a frown expression.
Jackline looked at the other body parts that had been collected and her eyes landed on the bruise that was there on the rest of the hand. It seemed as if an animal's claws and one could easily see those marks of claws on other body parts.
Miranda's expressions were not so good. There was already a case for them to be resolved which had included the foreign forces as well and now this is another animal attack. She felt as if her whole head was spinning. She was already annoyed since morning due to lack of sleep. And now this dead body who was not even in one piece.
"Ma'am, there are a lot of scattered clothpieces. Probably all of them belong to her."
Another officer came from behind them from the forest and informed them while carrying out a transparent packet inside which he had collected those scattered pieces of clothes. Not to mention it was the same colour top the girl was wearing before she left and that top was already identified by her roommate.
"Yes, it's hers!"
Then followed another round of wailing in despair.
Jackline and Miranda looked at each other and stood up.
"Just send the body and all the evidence to the forensic lab. We will check it after we get something useful.`` Both of them left from that area and returned back to their bureau.
"What do you think Miranda? What kind of predators are attacking?" her voice sounded somewhat tired. Miranda, who was walking side by side, could not help but shake her head and answer.
"I am not sure. But all this is definitely very fishy."
"Let's just wait for the test reports. At least we will for sure get some clues."
Just as both of them were passing through the hallway of the bureau, Jackline's eyes landed on a specific person whose wrists were handcuffed and he was murmuring something.
"What's happening there?"
Jackline asked in a low voice. Following her friend's line of sight Miranda looked into that direction and noticed about whom Jackline was talking about. Shrugging her shoulders she answered before sitting on her seat.
"A thief who was caught in a robbery."
Jackline's eyes were still fixed on that particular thief when she heard Miranda. Nodding her head slightly she was just about to sit down when all of a sudden she noticed something changing in the way the thief looked. His face had turned black with barely visible eyes and two sharp pointed teeth had come out from the corner of his lips in both the slides. Jackline almost lost her footing and was about to fall when Miranda had already caught her.
"Are you not feeling well?"
Retracting her gaze, Jackline looked at Miranda for a while and remained silent. When she again looked at that thief the latter seemed to be gazing at her and shockingly this time there were no such facial changes. Nodding her head Jackline sat back on her seat and did not say anything.

It had just been a couple of hours when they received a shocking piece of news from the forensic department. Both of them rushed towards the lab to enquire more about the test results.
A handsome and charming man wearing a white coat who was particularly the doctor- forensic expert was standing near the microscope and observing something when Miranda and Jackline barged inside the room.
"Mr. Richardson, we received a call from you." Jackline was the first one who broke the silence. Miranda who was standing just beside her could not help but comment in a more of a sarcastic way.
"We did not expect that Mr. Richardson would give us such a shocking piece of evidence. We thought the case would turn out a little bit easy, but sadly, it is way too complicated now. Thanks, Mr. Richardson."
Jackline could not help but pinch the space between her brows and shot her friend a glare. Both of them seemed to be at their throat whenever they would stand face to face. The forensic expert with the name Richardson, cracked an evil smile before he took off his glasses and walked towards them with his hands crossed behind his back.
"Miss Miranda, it seems you have a lot of complaints, isn't it?"
Miranda was annoyed and snorted in response. She did not say anything and averted her gaze towards Jackline. The latter coughed slightly before questioning in a low voice.
"Mr. Richardson, the reports?"
Richardson sighed and turned to look at Jackline. Sighing softly, he walked towards the table and picked up the report file. Flipping through the pages, he handed it to Jackline and explained.
"It is indeed true and I have confirmed this not once but thrice. This girl and the foreign citizen whose dead body had been brought here earlier are indeed related. Their DNA matches with each other. Not to mention the both are attacked by the same predators. Moreover, it is ninety-nine percent sure, that both of them are father-daughter."
