Chapter 34 - Chapter 34

"God damn why is this guy so heavy!"

Shouted Wang Shu as he hauled Gong Wu through the dense forest.

He had been assigned by his sect to find people to add to the outer sect but he hadn't been able to find any tribes or villages to pick anyone who could join.

Wang Shu thought it would be easy to get some ignorant mortals to join after all those barbaric morons would jump at the opportunity to join a sect.

But so far he hadn't even found a single little person let alone a tribe to join them.

Wang Shu was getting angrier and angrier as time went on so he decided to vent his rage on some weak vagabond cultivator.

That's when he saw Gong Wu running through the jungle and at first Wang Shu didn't know Gong Wu wasn't a cultivator so he attacked him only to receive a pleasant surprise.

Not only was the mortal he found not a cultivator he also had an unusually sturdy physique.

'I kicked this big bastard in the chest with enough force to shatter stone but not only did it not kill him but he was even able to stand back up with only a couple of bruises.'

'He really was a good fit to join our sect he might even live for a while in the outer sect hehehe.'

....

It took a lot longer than Wang Shu thought to get to the meeting place thanks to having to drag the unconscious Gong Wu but he still managed to get here on time so that's all that matters.

Wang Shu grunted as he yanked Gong Wu into a small village full of young people all of them gathered at the center.

When Wang Shu got there he threw Gong Wu at the crowd of people his body slamming into four unfortunate young men who were standing in the back

Gong Wu's unconscious body was like a battering ram shattering the poor youngster's bones killing all four of them.

Wang Shu didn't care though he was tired and sweaty from having to haul the heavy Gong Wu all the way here so he just took a seat on the ground and tried to recover his strength.

Li Bei however, did care so he walked over to Wang Shu to find out what was going on.

"What the fuck Shu why did you do that and what the hell did you throw!?"

Li Bei said angrily questioning the exhausted Wang Shu.

Wang Shu just grunted before getting back up and looking at Li Bei.

"That thing I threw is some freak I found in the jungle and he is gonna join the outer sect so just shut up and let me rest,"

Wang Shu then walked away while completely ignoring Li Bei's shouting.

Li Bei eventually stopped yelling at Wang Shu when he ran out of breath.

He groaned and then walked toward the unconscious Gong Wu checking to make sure he was alive.

'Still has a heartbeat and still breathing no broken bones either so I guess he's gonna live for now but I must say he is a tough one.'

Li Bei ordered some people to clean up the mess Wang Shu made before shouting for everyone to pay attention to him.

"Listen up some of you are from villages that are under our sect's control while others are just from random tribes we found but that doesn't matter now because from now on you are all part of the Coiling Dragon temple,"

Li Bei began his speech about being so lucky to be able to join the Coiling Dragon temple.

While he was talking Gong Wu began to regain consciousness waking up to find himself in a small village full of people.

Gong Wu was scared and so quickly got back up and was about to start running but he stopped when he saw a group of cultivators surround him.

Li Bei walked over and calmly looked at Gong Wu.

"Whoever you are pay attention you have been selected to join our sect so just stay here and listen to me will you!"

Li Bei then started speaking again going on and on about the Coiling Dragon temple.

Gong Wu quickly got a grasp of the situation and walked to the back of the crowd watching as everyone began to step away from him.

'Why are they doing that and why am I covered in blood?'

Gong Wu was very confused but he did know he was being forcibly taken into a sect. He also knew there wasn't any chance of escape.

'Looks like I'm joining a sect there goes my previous plans.'
