Chapter 6 - Chapter 6

I gleefully skipped down the street my face was beaming with pure joy.

So far this has been the greatest day of my entire life I joined the prestigious royal sect and awakened the rare giant bloodline.

Even my old withered boney body was full of vitality and strength life is finally looking good for me.

After so long all my hard work, blood, sweat, and tears everything has finally paid off no I can become a part of a powerful sect and slowly become stronger.

I can finally relax and enjoy the fruits of my labor I can't wait I'm heading straight to the royal sect to enter and become a disciple.

Qingting ran through the streets of the city with a goofy grin on his face giggling to himself like a mental patient when all of a sudden he collapsed to the ground.

There was no noise or any sign of an attacker Qingting just fell to the ground like a marionette that had its strings cut.

Qingting's eyes fluttered around trying to pinpoint the person who attacked him when out of nowhere a robed man appeared in front of him.

"What...the fuck?!" Qingting said barely able to cling on to his feeble little life.

The robed man smiled and leaned toward the dying Qingting's face and very softly spoke.

"Sorry kid not enough room for guys like you in the royal sect hope you don't blame me though just following orders after all hehehehehe," said the robed man in a condescending tone finished with a sicking dry laugh.

Qingting boiled with rage he was assassinated by this sadistic bastard because someone didn't want him in the royal sect.

Qingting was infuriated but on some level, he understood after all cultivation required a lot of resources, and in a place like the royal sect full of young geniuses there was bound to be some fierce competition but to be killed off before even getting to join.

Qingting couldn't accept this he at least had to try to fight back so using all of his willpower Qingting got to his fight and gave the assassin a vicious glare.

The assassin only gave a barely impressed whistle when he saw this his every being oozing with irritating arrogance.

"Impressive boy the fact you can stand after getting hit by my bone-melting venom needle speaks volumes but," said the assassin with a huge sadistic grin and a dry old voice full of insufferable sarcasm.

Qingting ignored him only focusing on killing him when suddenly all his remaining stamina left his body and he fell to his knees.

Qingting's vision turned bright red and a warm liquid covered his face Qingting was very confused he had no idea what was going on.

"Hahahahahahahahahaha!!!!" suddenly cackled the assassin like a deranged madman.

He smiled ear to ear and kicked Qingting in the stomach sending him flying several feet away into a wall.

"You stupid boy I knew you awakened the giant bloodline which is known for granting those with a tyrannical physical body so I used more than one poison in fact I used a cocktail of over fifty different kinds of poison hahahahahaha," said the cackling robed assassin as he continued to kick Qingting's dying body.

Qingting could only lay there and slowly die while cursing the whole world for his misfortune if only he had been reborn in a different environment with a better background maybe things would have been different.

The assassin kicked him for several minutes until he felt his aura completely vanish then he stopped and spit on Qingting's corpse before leaving.

"Stupid fucking brat skipping along like that all smiles like the whole world is yours got what you had coming to you and I even got paid for it hehehehehe," said the assassin as he disappeared into the darkness.

Leaving Qingting's quickly rotting corpse behind as it melted into a bloody puddle thanks to the assassin's poison cocktail.

Just like that Qingting was gone his life snuffed out too soon or so that's what everyone thought happened but he was not dead at least not for long because somewhere Qingting came back to life.

Qingting's consciousness floated in an empty void for God only knew how long until everything began to become clearer to him his once cloudy mind finally became crystal clear and he realized what had happened to him and why it felt somehow so familiar to him.

He had been reborn once again.
