The next few hours were a blur. The women in the castle bathed me and dressed me in a white dress. I was escorted to the chappal. I was surrounded by five female servants. There were guards around them with four guards on horseback in front leading and in back following us up. The towns folk gathered to watch the procession. They cheered and waved like it was a carnival come to town.
That is exactly how I felt as well. I felt like a side show freak. The man I loved died on the same day I was being forced to marry his father. I did not even know the mans name. I did know that the two of them could have been twins. But the father was evil.
