Chapter 1 - Death

Well, this is the end. It's so quiet, I thought death would have more sound. I'm not scared though, for all things must come to an end. Even me. I honestly just wish I had more time, more time to leave more behind for my family to remember me by. If only I had gone back to see them one more time. If only I would have given my mother one last hug. Please if anyone can hear me I want a second chance, not to change my death but to change my life. To live a better life. You know what, forget this. All there is after death is darkness, there is no heaven or hell, there is no rebirth, it was all a lie, a waste of time that humans tell themselves because they fear their inevitable end. Well I guess that was all just shit, "DO YOU HEAR ME, GOD DOES NOT EXIST, IT IS FUCKING STUPID TO BELIEVE IN A LIFE AFTER DEATH!!!"

"Well now do you actually believe that '' a voice called out from the darkness to her. "I sure as hell do" she said, calling out to the darkness. "Well then" the mysterious voice said. "How about a little bet then" a man said, stepping out of the darkness. He was tall and slender, he wore a black suit, like he had just come from a funeral. His hat cast a shadow over most of his face, so that only a part of his chin could be seen. The color of his skin was a ghastly white, and the air around him was cold. He peered at her with red eyes awaiting an answer. "What kind of bet, and who are you?" the girl said cautiously. " Ahahah, so you are willing then, yes?" the man chuckled, as his cold breath could be seen in the light that was cast upon him. "Well yes but you didn't answer my-" the girl's words were cut off by the sound of a snap. The snap had come from the strange man after that a flood of white light. The last thing the girl heard from the man was "remember you asked for this, I will find you when it's time." He said this while his laughter filled the room. Then it was silent.
