"Yeah, mom, what are you talking about?" Sofia said as she entered the room.
"Sofia, what did you do?" Carla said in a worried tone.
"Mom, you know I did not like Bryce." Sofia said.
"Sofia, but who is this guy and what does he do? If you married Bryce, you would be very happy. You have seen his business. You never miss a thing." Carla said.
"Mom, Daniel is a businessman. Don't worry about it. He does not let me miss anything anyway.You will see and understand when you come home." Sofia explained to Carla.
"You must be right." Carla said.
"If you had married him, you would have told us right away. We would have told Bryce's parents." Carla said sitting on the sofa.
"It is still time. Mom, I just got engaged without my consent." Sofia said in a simple tone.
"Are you really happy with this man?" Carla said, holding Sofia's hand.
