After the head general and commander were satisfied with what they had said and gifted Theo .. they dismissed their small gathering ...
"What happens now that I have become a Head Soldier ?? ... I'm sure this doesn't end here ..."
Captain Rose looked at him with an apologetic smile as she began explaining what would happen afterwards ..
Although it would probably make him a little bit overjoyed he couldn't help but feel betrayed and trapped by the military ...
If these were the rules he could only smile nervously awaiting the problems the military and the high authorities he was under ... "Can't I just give this title over to someone who's stronger or desperate .."
She chuckled with her hand covering her mouth slightly revealing her upper lip .. she then shook her head ...
"No .. that's not how it works .. unless someone beats you up for the title ... then that'd be worth it .. however now that the commander witnessed your power .. she couldn't help but feel like you deserve a high title and if she wouldn't be exaggerating she would've convinced the head general to give you the commander title if possible .."
Theo could only shake his head in shock as they walked in the canteen with pair of eyes glaring daggers at him as if he had done something to them ...
A few eyes only looked at Theo with awe whilst the other soldiers he saved were looking at him with glistening eyes and they themselves thought he deserved it ...
"And what did I do to them ..?" Rose raised an eyebrow at him as he moved closer to her intimately ... "Theo you're a Head Soldier now .. most soldiers will look at you with awe whilst other soldiers would curse inwardly because of jealousy ... and your title will only bring more rivalry in your space ..."
The more they starred the more the space around him twisted and turned somewhat cold and eerie ....
"I didn't know ordinary humans could release such jealousy and cold intent ... is the Head Soldier title that important ?.. you know I'm still a soldier infront of other higher authorities ... shouldn't they just treat me like a fellow soldier .. I won't retaliate ..!!?"
Most soldiers who were close enough to hear him could only laugh inwardly whilst other soldiers thought he was too weak for the title he had been given ..
Theo and Rose finally stepped outside the canteen with his face filled with confusion and sarcastic afraid expression ...
"I guess you're only strong when you're at your most best huh ... you're scared to challenge a few underlings ..??"
A muffle laugh escaped from his mouth before his face became resolute with a creepy smile .. "Scared ..? pfft ... I was only surprised to see so many soldiers looking at me like that ... I'm sure you must've felt like that when you received this title .." she nodded her head with a bright smile ...
"How about I show you around before a few Head Soldiers come beat you to a pulp' just to check if you're worthy of having such a title "
She grabbed his hand hastily as she dragged him down the steep stairs ...
"Slow down ... !!" he exclaimed as he crashed into her causing her to stumble backwards falling on her back ... with his face weirdly close to hers ...
*gulp*
Theo could hear her heart thumping with her face reddened .. again with her rosy expression ...
"You should stop running so fast .. if it were a bulky person he or she could've crushed you to a pancake even if you have the strength of a captain ..."
He stood up with redness on his cheeks averting his gaze away from her eyes ...
"Just walk slowly ..." he held out his hand helping her up ...
She hastily continued on her feet walking at a faster pace than before ... she gasped for air whilst she led him through multiple rooms and important places inside the military without looking back at him ..
"Hey ... you there ..!!!" Rose stopped in her tracks only for Theo to bump into her again while picking his nose ...
"Ow .. why'd you stop captain Rose ..!?"
He rubbed his nose slightly subduing the minor scratch pain inside of it ..
"I heard someone ... from behind calling out to me ..??" she was confused yet again with her face still flushed red ...
'How sensitive is she ..??' he thought inwardly looking at the rosy and red Rose ...
"Behind ??" he turned his head back whilst holding his nose ..
"Eh ..?" just as he turned he saw a girl who was at least at the same age as him ...
"I told you to stop ..." she said furiously approaching Theo in hurried dangerous steps ...
'Whats going on here ..?? is she going to hit on me infront of captain Rose ..?' he looked at Rose for a second before turning his gaze away from her to look at the girl infront of him ...
He then adjusted his clothes formally and his throat .. "Ahem .." just as he was about to speak .. the girl forcefully poked on him ...
"Are you Head Soldier 60 000 ..?" she looked at his badge and before he could respond she frowned deeply .. "Hmm .. you think you're worthy of such a title .. hmmph .. "
She grabbed him by his collar but was unable to lift him up even one bit .. 'What's this guy made of ..' sweat pearls ran down her temples and over her nose bridge ..
Theo just stood there trying to comprehend the situation ..
He looked at her as if he was mocking her with his eyebrow raised slightly ...
'Uhm .. should I just let her grab me like that or should I retaliate ..?' he thought trying to create a few subconscious persons of him ...
'She's a lady it would literally be bad especially if it would be me harassing her ...'
He was resolute and left this matter standing as he let her lift him up slightly a few inches high from the ground as he was unable to make his body feel like a feather to anyone ..
'Pheew .. at least I managed to lift him up ... '
"Uhm Miss ... can you let me down now .."
The girl was lost in her thoughts as he dropped him down only for him to land gently on his feet ..
"The name's T .." before he could introduce himself even after getting humiliated like that especially infrintany eyes ... Rose approached the girl with a cold expression ..
"Soldier what do you think you're doing .. do you think it's appropriate for you to handle another soldier like that .?."
She wasn't noisy nor calm with her words but they sounded a bit demanding as she looked at the girl who was fidgeting .. twiddling her fingers like a toddler ..
"Who do you think you are to ask me that m. after all your whole family made the military a laughing stock ..." the girl mumbled but Rose could hear her as her cold expression changed to a sad one but managed to throw her face out of everyone's gazes around ...
Theo saw Rose's sad face but didn't say or do anything because it was already too awkward for him to get involved ...
"Uhm ... I'm Theo ...??" he said trying to sound apologetic and innocent as the other soldiers who looked at him frowned ...
The girl came back to her senses and slapped Theo's extended hand to the side disgustingly ...
"Uhm did I do something wrong ...?"
The girl looked at him and smirked sarcastically ...
"I don't have time for this ... the other soldiers and Head Soldiers want to meet you and see if you have the qualifications to be a Head Soldier ... che ... make it in time or we would be forced to go to the council and explain how much of a disgrace you are ..."
The soldiers who were saved by Theo couldn't help but pity him as he starred blankly at the girl .. who had already turned around with an angry face ...
'Uh she's got moods .. !! ' although it looked like he was feeling down .. he was actually shocked that he would be treated like this especially by a lady at that ...
'She was so rude ...!! she isn't a lady .. I shouldn't have relied on my other selves on this ... ' he thought averting his gaze away from the girl to captain Rose ....
"Captain Rose .. are you okay ... ??" he said after realising that he had paid attention to the girl too much instead of paying attention to captain Rose ..
And after he had heard those words coming out of the girl's mouth he presumed it to be true but extremely painful for captain Rose to bear ...
"Let's just continue the tour .." she said with a little bit shaky voice in slow steps approaching what looked like an Arena from before ... but this one was different and too luxurious .. almost as if it was created for high authorities ...
"This will be your training ground from now on .. you don't have to enter the soldier's training grounds .... "
At that she turned around ready to leave him standing ...
Theo grabbed her by her shoulder ... looking into her eyes ...
"Captain Rose are you really okay ...??" she didn't bother to turn her head back and just shrugged off Theo's hand and walked away just like that ...
'Hmm it seems like what that lady said was too much for her to stand ... ' just then another voice of his own resounded in his head sounding ridiculous ...
'Wait she's not a lady that girl was a man in a girl's body did you see her smirking face .. you wouldn't be wrong if you claimed that she was the minotaur in a girl's disguise ...'
He chuckled inwardly and infront of the other soldiers surrounding the area .. they then looked at him like he was a crazy man laughing alone ...
