The next morning Bella woke up in Jett's arms and she snuggled deeper into the warmth. He was awake, looking over to the window and playing with her hair. He looked like he was thinking about something and his mind a million miles away.
"Morning handsome. Penny for your thoughts."
"Morning. I'm just trying to figure out how to keep seeing you. I'm on the road a lot." He kissed her forehead, seemingly a little heavy-hearted.
"I know. I'm worried too. I have no intention of hiding our relationship. It's just going to be hard," she let out a sigh as his hands smoothed over her hair.
"But you can't promise we'll be together either."
"No, I wish I could. Why couldn't I have met you before all this? I would never have left your side. Now we can't figure out how to be together and it's killing me," Bella said as she wrapped herself closer.
"It's killing me too. There has to be a way around this. There just has to be."
