"Wakey, wakey Mr. Coleman," a deep voice rang out. I tried to open my eyes but my body felt awfully weak and cold. Pain shot through my body as my senses came back to me. All I could manage to do was groan and that brought a lot of pain to me as well. "Ah he is up. Doc, did you give him enough painkillers?"
"Sir you told me not to give him any," a female voice rang out to my far left.
"Well give the bastard painkillers I need him alert not half dead," the voice snapped and I could hear the scurry of feet around the room. I heard and felt nothing for what felt like half an hour. Finally like a truck had been lifted off me the pain slowly started to fade until it was but a dull throb.
