Walking through the airport was tough, there were just too many people headed, well, headed everywhere, in every direction. It was just that hectic. I have got to say Thailand is really one of Asia's top-class holiday destinations. Imagine the revenue they get from their tourists alone. I mean even in America, it is one of the few destinations people think about if they were to travel. I am guessing it's the same everywhere else too.
I have never seen such a diverse spread of tourists before. The fact that you could see people from around the world, from Europeans to Arabians, just goes to show you, that the love the world has for Thailand is real.

I took my bag heading to get a cab, there were so many stores around from clothing to chocolate you name it, it seems even objects loved it here. I rolled out to the waiting bay, it didn't take long for the lane to be filled with cab drivers trying to get customers into their cars, it was like a warzone.
Two cab drivers suddenly popped up in front of me, they were battling it out, I just stood there overwhelmed, I took a chance and took the driver on the right, he looked so happy I chuckled, he helped me carry my bags into his car. I looked back feeling sorry for the other driver but smiled as soon as I spotted him loading his cab with luggage from the white couple who were right behind me.
We passed by the city looking at the skyscrapers, they stood tall as they towered the whole length of the streets in Bangkok, we arrived at the hotel in an hour of travel, and the driver helped me again with my bags, placing them neatly on the pavement. I tipped him for his excellent service, he bowed in gratitude and left, probably in a rush to meet his next customer.
I got into the hotel, welcomed in by the staff, they placed their palms together and bowed slightly. A gesture that even I, a white-washed Indian knew really well. The hotel was a top-tiered one and really gave you the Thai vibe, it was so well decorated with the local aesthetic.
I walked to my room, on the 14th floor of the building and was surprised to find a tray of mango sticky rice right at my door, I guess it was something the hotel gifted their customers with, well, I was not going to say no to something manggoey or sticky. I picked the tray up and walked in. I saved the dessert for later, storing it in the mini-fridge.
I jumped straight onto the bed needing the soft cushioning to take all the back pain away. I pulled myself off the mattress after an hour's nap, I pulled myself up to get some refreshments. As I got there I pulled out a can of beer and grabbed a pack of lays, stored on the top of the fridge to snack on.
I took them to the bed laying there eating on the crisp while sipping on the frothy beer. I took out my phone and scrolled through TikTok, after scrolling for approximately 10 mins I got bored of it and shut the app down, hoping to do something productive instead of lazing around.
I opened up the brochure that lay on the side desk beside my bed, looking through it to see if there was anything to do around this part of Bangkok, luckily there were lots of touristy sites that were placed around this hotel.
I yeeted myself out of the hotel and lead myself to a Buddhist temple that was like a 10-minute walk away, I didn't bring much with me, only the essentials. I was tired as is, I didn't want to think much so shoving my phone with my wallet into my pocket while grabbing the bottle of water that was left on the counter before my door was the limit.
Not long after walking, I was at the doorsteps of the Buddhist temple, which was decorated beautifully with flowers. The scent of them was magnificent too. I entered leaving my slipper at the entrance and washing my feet before proceeding. There were not many people within this temple, though it might have been the fact that it was a Tuesday.
A coin fell to my feet out of nowhere, as I went to get it another hand hit mine, I looked up and meet eyes with...
