Chapter 3 - Wise choice bring reward

Rewards

As we learn to test what we receive from God, we discover the divine

Reward System that begins to bless our lives with the dividends of Tested

Thinking. Have you noticed that on some television channels there is a little

scrolling bar at the bottom, which lists the abbreviation codes for various

companies and the percentage of gain or loss they realized that day? As you

test your thinking and come up with the correct "code" to identify the

source and truth of every thought, you can reap the dividends that will

invariably come at the "end of the day." In other words, you will receive

measurable results from embracing truth.

Jeremiah 29:11 tells us the Lord's thoughts toward us when He

declares, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD,

thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."

God knows His thoughts toward you—He knows what He has already

planned for your life. Therefore, He will reward you according to your

Tested Thinking and the actions you take as a result. Think of it this way.

Through your thinking you can determine the type of reward you will

receive. When you follow the pattern of Tested Thinking that God has

demonstrated, start obeying His precepts (planned thoughts, as spoken

through Jeremiah), and are living according to the statutes that He has

established, He will cause the rewards of obeying His eternal law to bless

your life.

The reward system includes both progress and pain. It is up to you to

choose the level of progress and limitations of pain, the limits of what you

are willing to sacrifice—such as time or activities or areas where you would

normally spend money—in order to press through to receive the dividends,

the end results, that your Tested Thinking will yield. Our struggle begins

when we try to qualify our spiritual growth by how much we have acquired

in the natural realm. Proverbs 19:1 says, "Better is the poor that walketh in

his integrity, than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool."
