True to Yourself Before God

my heart is "thinking" while my mind is thinking. In other words, my heart
keeps my thoughts in check. It is my divine "measuring stick" that invariably determines whether or not I am being truthful and honest with myself.
At all times, I want to make sure that I am not destroying the integrity of
who I am by living a lie. Shakespeare said, "to thine own self be true."4
Don't try to be someone else; be true to yourself before God. If you do
not like baseball, then don't buy season tickets simply to befriend somebody. Tell that person, "Listen, I do not like baseball." If you like baseball,
however, then buy season tickets, even if you go by yourself. You can enjoy
baseball alone! Sit next to somebody who has season tickets, and make
friends because you enjoy the same things, but do not continue doing something if your heart is n
