'So not even my new life is free of gangsters or mafia…'
While remembering... or more like merging with my new memories, I still was in a weird sleep paralysis-like state. I couldn't sense or see anything other than feeling like I was in a warm body of water.
But I was thankful as I had to process a lot of information, it wasn't just the life of Shiro Takashi which is the new me right now. But how much has society changed, there are superpowers now… Well. The term for them is "Quirks".
Although Shiro lived only 5 years in society before being dragged to the hell hole called "El Hoyo", it did give me a basic understanding of how things were, mostly.
One is that heroes have become a job, the second is that there are different types of quirks.
Emitter: Gives the ability to release certain types of substances, or alter the materials around you in particular ways. (Shooting air blasts or other elements like electricity)
Transformation: It causes the user to have a temporary alteration of some kind. (Growing in size or growing blades out of your body)
Mutant: It can have a wide variety of characteristics and abilities depending on the individual As a result, Mutant Quirks are permanently active and are the most identifiable. (Somebody having wolf-like characteristics)
Accumulation: It needs accumulated power, energy, or mass as a prerequisite condition to function correctly.
*sigh*
'Just what the hell did you do old man?'
I kept thinking about the new me, what will I do in this new life? In a new era where I can break my limits and become the strongest… I won't lie, I still have the same dream. Although now I will try new things now, I learned my lesson, I will still aim for the peak, but I will also live my life.
Right now I am quite young, so I can actually enjoy school, which it's not like I never did, since I did practice a lot of sports, but I only had acquaintances back then. I only had one real friend, Aidan.
So… I will not become just the strongest... I will become the strongest hero, after all, I made a promise to Yami, didn't I?

My mind suddenly felt clear, I have never ever felt my mind this clear. It's like if you've been in a city filled with smoke and pollution but suddenly, you smell the freshest air, like going to a mountain where there is only nature without any humans to ruin it.
A few moments later...
I opened my eyes.
The sun blinded me, my other senses were overloaded with information, I kept hearing ringing in my ears, I couldn't describe the smell but it was too strong for my liking, my body wasn't in pain but I felt as if needles poked my skin, and there was a weird taste in my mouth.
Maybe because staying in the void made me used to not feeling anything? But after a few moments, everything came clear.
The sound of leafs falling and grass moving, the smell of flowers, the soft grass that I'm laying on, and the breeze on my face. I took a deep breath, the air filling my lungs felt as if it gave me life.
My sight returned to normal, a beautiful blue sky that was graciously clear and-
*wack!*
A book fell on my face interrupting my monologue… I took it off of my face to look at it, its title said.
{Survival Guide For the Wilderness}
I got up and looked around, I was really in a forest.
'Shouldn't I be where the facility was destroyed?'
Then a white letter appeared right in front of me, I, of course, caught it before it could fall to the ground. I opened the letter.
{This letter should appear right after you merged with your new body.
( ͡°( ͡° ͜ʖ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)ʖ ͡°) ͡°)
As you should've realized by now, you are not near the facility anymore, you are somewhat far away actually. The thing is, your new body did get minced into pieces as the facility got destroyed and was on fire, so you can imagine how bad your body ended up.
ಠ_ಠ
So I just rewinded it before you used grenades on yourself, I also moved you away to a place filled with wildlife so you can survive. By the way, I left you a book just in case.
Little note: you are only about 2,000 miles away from the closest city, so if you want to go you should head towards the South}
I finished reading the letter and finally understood my situation.
'Thank you old man'
First things first, I inspected my body. I was rather skinny but not malnourished.
My clothes were just plain loose red clothing that reached my knees and elbows, my skin was ghostly pale as I was in an underground facility for 2 years.
I could see many scars on my body, my legs and arms have many small and big cuts, the same goes for my torso. I also noticed my hands having calluses... there were too many scars to count...
I could not help but notice my long snow-white hair which reached my waist… Well, it's dirty so it's not white at all.
The first thing I decided was to look for a lake or river to clean myself, as I'm not hungry at the moment.
I went climbing the tallest tree and see my surroundings from there. Just by walking I couldn't help but notice how good it felt to move.
'A 7 year old body feels better than my other body that I trained for 20 years...'
I thought in a depressing mood while I climbed the tree which made me more happy and depressed as it felt even better to climb...
I looked around and noticed a lake and some plains around, there seemed to be some spots without trees…
'Those are some good spots to train.'
I also saw many boulders and even a mountain.
I went to the lake and took the survival guide book with me as it will be my lifeline for now. After reaching the lake I saw my reflection on the perfectly calm water… my eyes were a lot more peculiar than I thought, they were bright yellow and had some kind of white light in them.
'Is it because of my soul being stronger than before?'
After inspecting my eyes, I took off my clothes and entered the lake. It wasn't warm or too cold, it was… refreshing.
When I finished cleaning myself I felt light as a feather and my mind was incredibly clear.
I realized that after waking up, I started speaking Japanese. It felt so natural that I didn't even notice.
'Speaking Japanese is certainly weird, especially when you didn't even know how to speak it a few hours ago.'
I grabbed some mangos that were near the lake and went to one of the plains I saw before. Then I sat down and thought about what I want to do now...
*sigh*
Training, not even gonna lie to myself, I want to at least achieve some level of strength near the one I had in my old body before going back to society. After all, someone capable of destroying buildings is kind of normal now.
After that I will find a way to become stronger in facilities and doing hero stuff, I might do some vigilante activities… I will have to be sure to become strong so as to not get caught.
'I will be learning what it is to be a hero while being a vigilante… kind of weird as I might get treated as a criminal if I get caught.'
Anyway, the gyms and whatnot must have improved right? I mean, from what I remember, the technology doesn't seem to have advanced that much which is weird, like the cellphone was an invention that advanced a lot in just a few decades of existence. But from my memories, it seems that technology has barely improved.
Which means that it must have stagnated because of the manifestation of quirks, just what happened in the span of 200 years? Well. That's for me to learn later.
I looked at my worned out hands. 'I will reach the peak of strength with just my body and nothing else. It's gonna be hard as I don't have a quirk, but since when did I have it easy?'
I chuckled at my thoughts.
But for now, I have to train my new body and see its potential, as it still has a limiter which means that I will have to break it again.
The sky started to turn dark so I read the survival guidebook about how to make a camp…
'It seems that things will be harder than I thought.'
The only thing I could do before night was a little campfire so I could sleep with some comfort.

[Next day]
After waking up and eating more fruits I started to exercise. The first thing I did was check the control I had over my body, I could move every muscle without a problem, it was the same for my organs as long as I concentrated.
'I didn't lose my touch yet.'
Right after checking my control over my new body, I went for a jog and from there I would start running. I started to run faster and faster, I kept improving my coordination and doing less useless movements as possible.
I couldn't believe that my body was just 7 years old, I could already run 10m/s which is already olympic from my era level mind you.
But there seemed to be a bit of a disadvantage, my strength was lacking compared to my speed, although movement was important, the same goes for strength.
'I won't be satisfied with being the fastest, I have to be the strongest as well.'
So I made a training plan to increase my strength. There were a lot of boulders that I could use near the mountain. Although it may be a little bit too primitive, it doesn't change the fact that I will have to push my limits one way or another.
So I started to do push ups with a boulder on my back or doing lunges while carrying one… It was kind of hard to make it stay still but it was worth the effort.
Another thing I started doing was running at my top speed until I couldn't move. I smiled through all the pain, I could feel my body become stronger in real time. I could easily guess why, it must've been because I already broke my limiter once even if it was in another body, having an abnormally high potential, and also because as the old man said, my soul resonates with this body unlike the old one.
It was different when I exercised with my old body, as I did somewhat mindlessly push my limits and sometimes I suffered some setbacks. But now, I have a different feeling, as it tells me to keep going as if I'm on the right track.

[1 month later]
I discovered something…
I did it a bit late and now I feel stupid. I haven't unlocked my 6th sense, although I feel like I will if I keep pushing my body. But that's not the thing right now, it's about my instincts and senses, I really thought that I already had my 6th sense.
But it was just that my senses and instincts were that good or maybe it was just my last body that was that bad.
I had to train my reflexes to react to pain instead of danger, that's how bad my instincts were.
I felt so stupid but happy, I could only imagine what would be awakening my 6th sense in this body…
'Wait, didn't the old man say that it was more like a domain, but I could only sense stuff with it and not manipulate them like telekinesis or something.' I tried to remember what the old man said.
'So let's just call it Spiritual Sense… I might change it later.'
Either way, I kept my training and also did read about poisonous plants from the survival guide book, mainly because I wanted to increase my resistance to poison by slowly eating them.
I will also have to increase my resistance to pain at one point although my mind is ready, my body may react differently….
'I already have a plan but I just hope I don't end up coming out as an M after it.'

[2 months later]
I started to hunt animals and fishing. I did it mostly for protein and their skins for clothing, although I couldn't find any bears to wrestle, I found deers.
You heard that right, I wanted to wrestle a bear.
Anyway, I realized something interesting, the animals seemed to have great instincts like me, they were also incredibly fast.
My guess is that they must have gotten stronger because of quirks, although I don't really know much, but that was my only guess. Either way, it was some good training for stealth and tailing.
I was a bit amateurish but I managed to skin them by reading some instructions, and I discovered something new about my body while doing that.
My body learns fast, too fast that I thought I was a prodigy at hunting, but it was that I was just a fast learner now… WHICH IS EVEN BETTER!!!. Now I could really recreate those techniques that I read from that battle manga… Well, maybe recreating them only partly but I'm gonna try anyway. A man can dream.
Hehehe...I remember that time when I was 10 years old, my Uncle took me to a doctor to check why I was slow at learning, after a few tests the doctor said that it was a major something thingy having to do with the behavior of committing an error, kind of finding about a mistake by realizing that you got no reward, rather than realizing by your own awareness and dwelling on it, therefore learning after it.
'I can't count how many times I kissed the ground during many sports activities at that young age… Hey, maybe I didn't lose the bet with Big Sis, my first girlfriend was the ground…'
"BAHAHAHA!!!" I laughed at my own joke.
Although my Uncle was concerned, he still supported me and taught me about giving 200% the effort.
Anyway, the techniques and other stuff are for later.
Soon, I started to feel things with more detail than before, but I know that it wasn't my true Spiritual sense. It was kind of like when I somewhat broke my limiter, I don't know why I had to become stronger to use the Spiritual Sense again, but I was gonna discover soon.
So I started to do what I thought would be the best thing to do, meditation, but not simple meditation.
I covered my ears, eyes, nose, and skin completely. So basically I couldn't feel anything by physical means.
From then on, I tried to sense my surroundings although I couldn't sense anything at the start of course. Slowly but surely I sometimes sensed something, right now I was trying to push my mind the hardest I've ever done, it was as if you tried to find something through a dark room.
You know that it's in there and it's close, but that doesn't make it any less frustrating.
For an unknown amount of time, I was in a sort of black void, I could "feel" waves around me. That is until I actually sensed things around me out of nowhere.
The grass, the ants carrying some of my left over food, the remains of the fircamp an-
But then, it was like when I first woke up, my brain got overloaded with information. So I got dizzy and suddenly came out of that state.
I touched my nose, as I felt a warm liquid coming out of it, it was blood… I wasn't worried at all by this, I was rather excited so I had a huge smile on my face.
'Seems that I found another way to break my limits hehe…'
I never thought that there would be a way to train your brain in a way that wasn't studying.
'Somehow feels wrong to say that you train your brain… But anyway, it seems that I will have some change of plans.'
