First flush of the morning started to make an appearance. The golden radiant sun started to blister across my golden skin and caused me to slightly burn from the warmth. My eyes we're shut as I felt the sun kiss my face with beauty, a pile of lukewarm sweat formed under me as i was heated.
My whole body was worn out and shattered due to stress. I felt like getting up and getting for the day but overall felt torn apart, My back was breaking and felt numb from head to toe.
My ribs felt like they were crippling and almost breaking in half, My eyes we're rolling back as i felt exhausted and in pain.
I felt my two arms slowly going up towards the sky and gently started to stretch with ease.
I knew it was time to get ready for the day and started to pray for the pain to go away. But as i knew i had to walk to the bathroom, I let out a knackered yawn instead.
I started to rise up with one hand holding my injured back, Rambled towards the bathroom and prepared myself to face the unknown.
I felt self centred last night, but decided to pull myself together and do this for my best friend.
As I felt a disturbing buzzing sound against my ears and painful neuralgia, I strolled to the nearest kitchen inside the cabin and filled up my water bottle to stay hydrated.
Meanwhile the others started to come alive and do the same.
We knew it would be a nerve racking day to conquer, but it was the only way to know the truth.
We all walked towards the door, Reached for the door nob and opened the groaning egress.
As we all rushed out, We decided to rush into the car and drove away speedily with no hesitation at all.
Even though i still felt horrible and weak. I had to put on an act so that the others, Wouldn't tell me to stay home even if I didn't want too. It was hard because it felt like someone had just hit me with a pole, not once but many times.
Even though I couldn't concentrate at all.
I felt my eyes lose focus as i was watching the true beauty of Mother Nature, outside of the window. I wanted to distract myself from all the stress that was bothering me and taking over me.
'Hey Mila, how are you feeling?' I heard Valentin ask.
Huh? Oh um yeah I'm fine … totally fine. I felt the others look at me, it's like they knew how I felt and what thoughts were running through my mind. But I just stayed quiet for the rest of the ride.
30 minutes had went by and I knew we arrived , since Igor started to park Infront of the cafe.
Hey are we skipping school ? I asked curiously.
'Yeah, you didn't know ?' Val replied confusingly .
Oh …i had no idea, I thought we would meet 'Them' after school.
I felt weirded out and confused but it might be because of how I'm feeling, at the moment.
The others we're unbuckling their seatbelts and grabbed their bags, as they got out of the car. I did the same and stood behind them, As they were walking towards the back of the cafe. I felt this strange aura around me as if what were doing was dangerous and unsafe.
Until we arrived at the back , we noticed that the mysterious person or creature wasn't here yet.
Although I felt like skipping school was wrong and uncalled for, I knew that this was the only way to find out what happened and if she was still alive.
'Whatever happens , we should always stick together ok?' Adrien said calmly.
I'm scared but I know we got this, we can't show fear or trepidation towards the unknown. We have to be brave but not only for Nina, for ourselves too. We've all been suffering and dreading, but we can't let this monster take advantage of us.
I said to the others while encouraging them.
As I was giving the others a pep talk, I heard sounds of branches crackling in the background as if someone was listening and spying on our every move. I had to admit , it made me startle with agitation but it didn't make me want run away . It made me want to face my fears and face the monster, that took away my best friend.
Even if it seemed stupid.
I didn't know who was there , could it be what we we're about face ?. I wanted to see who was behind all of this and what kind of creature we saw yesterday.
'Hello? Who's there ?'. I raised my voice.
'I hope you know that were not scared of you ! We want to know what happened and if she's still alive !'.
I could hear the branches creaking once again, the wind seemed like it was getting powerful enough to pull us back.
'AUGHHHHHHGHH' the creature cried behind the branches.
'SCREEEEEEEEEEE'.
Tell us what happened to Nina ! I yelled with anger once again.
'SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE AUGHHHHH'
the monster vanished into thin air, leaving a note behind. I quickly ran and grabbed it, whilst examining every sentence.
'Blood. More blood.' I cried out as I was bursting with tears and gently slammed the note on the dirty floor, with despair.
I felt Olivia hugging me and comforting me after having a bad reaction to what I had seen. Could she be dead ? All we see is blood ?. I looked over at them, As thoughts were rushing through my mind and tears rolling down my cheeks.
At this point, I felt like giving up right at this moment.
As I was panicking and not being able to breathe , I saw Valentin crouching on the floor. Trying to see what was written besides having blood on it.
'You know what they say about Hope, it breeds eternal misery, She also knew too much.' Valentin reads out.
'Knew about what ?' Olivia questioned.
'I'm not sure but we need to find out now , rather than later.' Valentin shared.
'Val let's go back to the shed , we can figure it out when we get there'. Olivia pled.
I felt Olivia and the others guide me back to the car, As I was in disbelief and unable to walk. I also knew that it hit everyone else, just like it hit me too.
