I was now ready to depart after what had happened. Exiting Mr Volknov's house. Everything just seemed strange and unreal, As if we were standing in a small room in the house with no windows. Preferably a small closet that was dark and suffocating to be in.
As I was walking down each step, passing over without giving due attention to where I was going. I tripped and fell clumsily on the rough path leading to the floor of doom.
'Mila are you ok?'. I felt a rusty voice behind me,it was Olivia carefully making her way towards me as I was in a pickle. Her voice started to mumble as I couldn't handle the pain shooting through my hands and knees.
It was just horrible.
As I was kneeling on the hard core rock floor, my knees and hands stung with a sharp and mortifying pain, as it was indescribable.
'Ouch!' I cried in pain. It was just too hurtful.
I scrabbled in panic to get up, to carry on fleeing from the unknown danger, which was quickly gaining up on me.
I felt the rush of the wind as a figure passed me then stopped and turned to face me. I didn't know who it was or why they were approaching me. A thin, bony hand reached out towards me as I was still kneeled down on the floor.
I heard a scream rise from deep within me but it made no sound, as fear had taken over me. I was paralysed, chilled to my very soul with the sight of the horrific face in front of me.
I couldn't believe the sight of the weird creature standing before me. It was at least as big as the Eiffel Tower.
As a small, delicate smell of freshly leaves came from the haunting beast.I heard a sound rise from its scaling throat as I was slowly pushing myself back.A cross between a growl and Rawr occurred from the horrid beast.
It's eyes.It's eyes were beaming red,more red than the other monster we saw not too long ago.I knew just by looking at it,that it would cause me more nightmares.
The feeling.the feeling that I was experiencing right now made me feel like a rush of perspiring anticipation of danger. The pain was just taking over my body, my knees were bloody and I felt like my whole body was gasping for more oxygen and air.
It just didn't feel real, none of this felt real.
My crew was right behind me,probably manifesting the feelings that I was having since I was in pain.I didn't look back nor did I reply back to them.This whole situation was just to crazy for me and the others.It felt like a cinematic experience to the point where we were starring in an unsettling film with dread and alarm.
I didn't know if I was hallucinating or if the others were watching and experiencing the same scene right in front of me.But if they were? Then I just have this strong feeling inside of me that they were probably terrified and trapped whilst this whole captivating thing was entertaining us at the same time in a cathartic experience.
Suddenly as this traumatising landscape happened. I slowly felt myself going back to actuality.
'Mila?, what's going on?'
I was confused.I hadn't picked myself up yet but I didn't know who was talking to me and asking me questions that were surprisingly messing up my brain.
'Huh?' I questioned to whoever called out my name.
'It's me Val, I'm talking. Why we're u screaming?'.
He asked.
'I-i saw something'. I said as I was in shock.
'What did you see Mila?, was it the same old creature again, you know … the one in the forest?'.
I didn't answer. I couldn't even look at them. I'm not sure why I wasn't able too but that living creature. it didn't seem like the one we saw before.
It was different, more evil looking.
Something very mysterious-looking.
I wonder if there's more of them and who actually took Nina and Adrien.I just couldn't put my finger on the situation.I had so many questions to ask about our missing pieces, Could someone know about what happened to them?. I asked myself.
After overthinking about this messy and sticky situation that we were in.I then decided to answer my friend, 'Different no…different monster' I said as my mind was blinded with hazardous thoughts.
Olivia and Valentin started to look at eachother with confusion,I knew that they probably thought I was crazy but in reality. I knew what I saw.
I started to stand up, as I had my hand placed against my chest with fear, my eyes were looking towards the dark and eerie passageway. I felt my myself walking towards it, I wasn't thinking at all but it almost felt like I was being controlled by something or someone, it was too powerful. Was it something that could lead me to somewhere unsafe or somewhere peaceful?.
I was slowly entering the darkened place and I felt my friends walking behind me too. Was this the end ? Are we still going to be alive and make it out of this suffocating and tragic unreality? I asked myself quietly once again.
I didn't know…I didn't know if we were going to make it out alive but all I know is that we should always stick together.no matter what happens.
As I was going further and further, almost felt like a nightmare to be honest.I noticed the beautiful scenery, it was a garden with fairy lights all around.It seemed too magical to be in.
It felt like something was luring us into this magical world, just to distract us.
But I could be wrong.
I felt possessed, my whole body was just walking forward.I had no curiosity in me, to ask the others what was wrong with me.
As I was walking deep within,It started to get darker and darker and darker…
It was pitch black.
Nothing was visible to see…
