Continues from chapter 17 of dear heart ...
Chalee felt it was just the right moment and decided to look for Snow. He made his way to the place where Minju and Snow were staying, only to find the door locked. Not giving up, he sneaked a peek through the window. The room seemed empty, but he could hear a gentle melody drifting from another room. Hoping it was Snow, he carefully moved toward the unlocked door.
As he reached for the handle, he paused, worried it might be someone else inside. To be sure, he softly called out, "Snow?"
From within came a gentle and familiar voice, "Seonbae, is that you?"
Feeling relieved, Chalee slowly opened the door. Inside, he saw Snow, her figure bathed in soft light as she stood before a mirror, dressed in a delicate nightgown, gently combing her hair.
From behind her, Chalee whispered, "Snow dear, is it really you?"
Snow turned around, her eyes lighting up with a mix of surprise and joy. "Seonbae, I've missed you," she said, rushing into his arms and hugging him tightly.
Chalee stood still, almost in disbelief, like a rock frozen in time. Snow, sensing his shock, cupped his face in her hands, bringing him back to reality. "Look at me, Seonbae. Are you daydreaming again?"
Without another word, Chalee leaned in and kissed her deeply. The kiss was passionate, as if it had been destined but delayed for far too long. They lost themselves in each other, their hands exploring as they made their way toward the bed.
Chalee pulled back slightly, his breath heavy, and said, "Can we go somewhere tonight? I don't think it's comfortable here. You don't know how much I've wanted this since our trip."
Snow gazed into his eyes, feeling the depth of his love, and nodded. "Okay, Seonbae, whatever you say."
Chalee smirked, lifting Snow into his arms, ready to leave. But just as they reached the door, Minju appeared with a playful, knowing smile.
Chalee and Snow, startled, stopped in their tracks. Minju's eyes twinkled with mischief. "Caught in the act, huh?"
Chalee gently set Snow down, his face a mix of disappointment and frustration. "Really, Minju, of all times..."
Snow, embarrassed, asked, "Minju, what are you doing here?"
With a confident grin, Minju replied, "I'm staying here too, remember? Don't tell me you forgot about me!"
Snow stammered, "It's not what you think. I'm sorry, I lost track of time..."
Minju, always the teaser but never malicious, quickly understood and decided to have a bit of fun with the situation.
Underneath the casual exchanges and playful moments, there was a sense of longing and unspoken poetry in the air. Chalee's heart felt like a field of blooming flowers, each petal whispering the name of his beloved. Snow's soul sang a song of reunion, each note a loving caress upon Chalee's ears. Their connection was more than just touch; it was a symphony of emotions, a sonnet of dreams.
