Not giving a single f* about world, jade was sleeping peacefully, with her mouth open, hair all over her face and specs still on her eyes. She didn't even notice that her head was resting on someone shoulder.
Kian found her carefreeness funny and strange at the same time.
Funny- because the way she sleeps was not less than a child.
Strange – for a girl, she's extremely off guard. We all know world is full of jerks...not 'all men' but there still are some..... and….. she's travelling alone with this carelessness!!!??
"No!! This is not done.... I'll make sure to explain her importance of awareness when traveling alone."Kian was dwelling in these thoughts but a sudden feeling of wetness on his shoulder bought him back to reality.
"What's this wetness"..... before he could finish he his sentence the pleasant expression on his face turn to cringe one.
"shot…." He shouted in his mind.
The wetness was because of jade's drooling. The look on Kian's face was so funny that a child sitting near them started laughing. Kian try to stop him because he didn't want Jade to wake up but now the child started fake crying. Kian quickly stared looking in other direction.
His sudden movement, kid's cry and on this top of all this, the wet feeling on her cheek woke jade. Still in sleep, Jade lift her head, her eyes were blinking repeatedly and she was looking in all direction to understand what's going on.
She saw Kian with her half closed eyes and then turned to other side but then, with a sudden jerk, she turn towards him.
Looking at him with complete confused and shock expression she said-"what…..what are you doing here." Now she was completely awake and was in complete sense.
Hearing her voice Kian turned towards her. Her face showed mixed expression and this, together with her messy hair, made her look hilarious.
Before kian could answer her she changed her question to –" are you ok?? Did something happen?? Are you having breathing problem??" her confused expression turn to concerned one.
"No I'm fine" said kian, who was smiling in his heart seeing her worried face.
Jade who was still worried kept asking-" are you sure? No need to hide if there is anything. Is your throat hurting? Or there's something wrong with..."
Before she could complete her sentence there was a warm sensation on middle of her lips. It was Kian, he made her quite by placing his finger on her lips.

This was the first time he was looking in her eyes clearly. Before when he saw her, he had just recovered from choke, so he didn't notice them much. But now, they were right in front of him, although there still is a barrier called specs, but it is not very efficient in hiding those beautiful pair of brown eyeballs.
"since when did the most common brown eyes became this attractive, attractive enough that he can keep starring at them all his life."
