I could not find Nora's room key, so I took her to mine instead. I was planning to leave her alone in it, but I just couldn't.
"You should stop saying things you're not sure about.". I said as I helped her pull her shoes off.
"I know everything." She said.
What exactly does she know?
"Laura told me everything." She added.
Laura?
"Laura?" I asked her.
"Yes... Laura..... Laura Harrison." She added.
"What the hell did she tell you Nora?" I asked as I tried holding her, we both laid on our back.
"You..... Why should I tell you? You know you never liked me."
Wtf!!!
Laura was the one who told me Nora cheated on me, now nora's complaining she told her I never liked her.
She was also the one I met at the hospital, when late williams was shot.
Is she still crazy about me?
Come to think of it, except Jessica, Laura also knew about that incident.
I can't believe I hated Nora for so many years, for no fuckin reason. She did nothing wrong.
I caused all this, I shouldn't have trusted Laura, or befriend her.
I remembered when I dumped her on the road the other day, she coulda told her mom, but she did not. She saved everything, my dad woulda been so mad I let such an influential customer go like that.
And that stupid Laura, I hope she is still in Nyc, imma hand her straight to the police. I'm 100% sure she's responsible for william's death. She realized the man was a slave to money, and would do anything for anyone who was willing to support him.
I can't believe I was deceived by her twice 😒
The next day
😒Dan's POV😒
So the wedding ended, aunt and uncle Marcus gave their blessings to Zura and I. They promised to scold me for what I did.
I woke up this morning with a grumbling stomach, damn I'm so hungry🙂. I turned only to realise Azura was not beside me, it's actually none of business though lmao. That bitch denied me of my rights last night😒, she should thank her stars I was not really in the mood due to what happened yesterday.
I picked my phone up and received three missed calls from aunt, and twelve from uncle Marcus. That man should really learn to be a man sometimes, no wonder is wife left him for am ex gay🤦. I decided to call aunt after breakfast, she'd definitely want to talk to Azura also, and I'm pretty sure it would be a long call, so why not call her when I'm calm.
While thinking about all these, I stood up from the bed, went to the bathroom, brushed my teeth, and headed to the kitchen. Aunt told me she'd order for some maids, to assist Azura. She does not want her to go through any stress. I got downstairs and my nose caught something so entertaining, which made me think aunt had already gotten chefs. But when I got into the kitchen, I saw Azura washing some dishes. I looked round the kitchen to see where the great aroma was coming from, and I realized she was grilling something.
Normally, I usually have bread or cereal for breakfast, but this old woman is grilling, turkey? Unique. Imma have anything right now, I'm starving. And I'd have to seduce her into giving me some, cuz she's quite a devil.
"Good morning baby." I greeted as I wrapped my hands around her waist.
💞 Azura's POV💞
I woke up this morning late. I was so hungry, and my so called husband was deeply asleep. I'd talk to aunt about getting us a maid or something, this man is clueless about taking care of a pregnancy woman. I stood up, brushed my teeth in haste and headed downstairs towards to the kitchen. I got there, and it was all snacks, cereals, and bread that were the ready to eat food.
I was in no mood for them, I felt like eating something grilled, a little spicy. Thank goodness Nora was the one who shopped for our stocks, so the ingredients were complete. I took some sliced pieces of turkey, seasoned it and put it right into the oven just like aunt Debbie taught me.
I was washing the dishes when Dan wrapped his hands around my waist and greeted "Good morning baby".
Truth be told, I was a little stunned and happy but I'm sure it's all in his plans to make me fall in love with him. And it won't work.
"You're hurting me." I lied as I pulled his hands off.
"I'm sorry." He apologized as I continued what I was doing.
Oh, maybe he's horny, I did deny him from having sex with me last night. He's a cunny person I'm not so sure of what he's up to.
"You should use the dishwasher to do this Zura, what world are you from?" He said as he collected the dishes from me and cleaned them.
"You're pregnant, you shouldn't have to go through this much stress." He added.
He should stop acting like this, I'm beginning to have a soft spot for him. He doesn't care about me, not even my baby. All he cares about is leaving me, like he said at the pool party. I was so stupid to think he was falling for me, then he made me feel like it was for our baby, till he unleashed his real aim.
"Azura" He snapped his finger at me.
Fvck, I can't believe I actually went mute for close to three minutes. I don't want him to think I like him or something😢😢.
Thang! Was the sound the oven made.
"The food is ready." I said as I left the corner we were in, and walked to the oven.
Just then Dan jumped in excitement and said "Food is ready" like a child.
Hold up 🧐!
That's the reason he was acting all lovey around me.
Cuz he was hungry.
Unfortunately for him or should I say fortunately for me, his plans...they're gonna fail, cuz I already know them. He ain't taking a bite.... from my food.
I watched him bring the tray out of the oven, I served them all in a bowl, served myself a glass of juice, and arranged them all on a tray.
"Auf Wiedersehen" I imitiated a german show I watched on TV, and walked confidently out of the kitchen, and headed for the living room upstairs.

😒 Dan's POV😒
I can't believe she deceived me. She's taking all OUR food. I watched her take the food all the way upstairs. Then she stopped at the barricade, and stuck her tongue out.
I'd make her pay. I ascended through the stairs real fast.
I'm so hungry 🙂.
💞 Azura's POV 💞
I was just about to leave after sticking my tongue out, as I turned, the tray fell off my hand.
Luckily I was able to save myself from falling.
"Are you okay?" Dan asked me, at least that's what I thought. Till I realized he was talking to the turkey.
What a food monger!
He sat down right and took one of the turkey and bit right through it.

"Are you for real?" I asked feeling a little irritated and yet tempted.
"Imma have cereal after this." He answered as he took his second one.
"You're gonna have to clean this place up after this." I said to him as I sat down to eat with him.
"You created the mess." He opposed.

"I'm pregnant, remember what you said in the kitchen." I smiled.
He agreed and we both are the turkey happily 🙂.
🌚Nora's POV 🌚
I woke up with a terrible hangover. I observed, and realized I was in a hotel room. Tony brought me here last night, I should have controlled myself. I picked my phone up and received thirteen missed calls from Tony, three from Charlotte and thirteen from mom. How long was i gone?
I turned on my mobile data, and received alot of notifications. Opened my WhatsApp application;

Are you okay now? Take some lime juice when you wake up. 22:14
I could not find your room keys, so I kept you in mine. I coulda waited a little longer, but I had to go. So sorry about ..... 22:15

I opened my twitter app to confirm what Charlotte said, it was true, but it was not completed. Someone caught Tony and I on camera.
Why can't people mind their business, throwing shades. Saying shits they nothin about. I'm in no mood for this. God why me 😭😭😭
