She wants the king dead! Without waiting to hear more, I turn on my heels and walk away. I cannot help but think about how evil she is. No wonder she is called 'the sinful empress.'
I wonder for how long she has been doing this. What exactly is in her mind as she plans such evil against her husband? The guards look at me suspiciously, but I don't satisfy their curiosity. I handshake with them telling them that I will be back shortly. They try to stop me to find out if I saw the king, but I don't stop. I am not sure if I am alive or dead. If I am hearing things, or if something is wrong with me.
As I walk back to the stables where I left Henry and the other girls, I cannot help but think about what I heard the queen discussing with some lady. My mind swiftly drifts to her words. They were so clear, and I never struggled at all to catch what she was saying.
