Chapter 19 - Chen Junjie Is Better Than The Legendary Tan Huizhong!

The temperature was below freezing, and snow was beginning to fall as the night fell. A lonesome woman was climbing up a treacherous mountain, about to collapse from exhaustion. Her jacket had frost crystals frozen all over it, and her eyes were nearly frozen shut.

Suddenly, a gust of wind carried her hood off of her face. She lifted a hand to put her hood back on, opening her eyes as she did so - revealing her rare ice-colored eyes.

Her eyes, despite the cold wind, stayed open until she climbed over the last ledge of the mountain. Her pickaxe remained lodged into the mountain, but she had untied herself from it. Lifting the sleeve of her heavy jacket, a tattoo suddenly appeared. It was barely noticeable, it only was shown because of the frost clinging onto her small arm hairs.

Once the tattoo appeared, a sudden door showed up. She stared at the lock for five minutes, before finally the door creaked open. As she stepped through it, she was transported to a snowless mountain besides a beautiful lake. A minute afterwards, the door closed.

The woman's skin began to burn at the sudden temperature increase. The pain was enough to kill a normal person.

After changing into a more appropriate outfit, the woman ran out of the cave where she was transported too. To leave, one would be submerged by a waterfall. There was no way to avoid getting wet. However, in her case, she wanted to get wet. To stop the burning sensation that was prickling all over her body.

There was hardly anyone outside as she ran to the biggest house in the area - a house on the lake. She didn't greet anyone and ran straight there. Ten people were already waiting for her there. They had been expecting her.

"C-Chen Bohai is alive!" She announced as soon as she entered the house.

-

"You want to learn what?" Tan Huizhong asked, shocked at the sudden determination of his pupil.

"How to teleport." Bohai repeated himself. Ever since his fight with Tan Duyi, he had been mesmerized by his ability to teleport.

"How to teleport? Hah! Didn't I tell you, that if you agree to be my disciple I get to choose what and when you learn?" Huizhong retorted. It was early in the morning, and he was still not over the shock from two days prior.

"C'mon, teach me."

"No."

"Please?"

"No."

"Please?"

"No!"

"Pleaseeeee?"

"NO!"

"I won't stop bugging you until you agree to teach it to me you know?"

"I don't care."

"Okay. Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ttteeeeeaaaacccchhhhh mmmmeeee."

"No."

"Tsk. My grandfather would've taught me."

"That stingy bastard? Never."

"Would too!"

"No, he wouldn't."

"Yes he would. Thats why people still remember him. Because he's a real legend." Bohai mocked. In the short span since he reunited with his grandfather's old friend, Bohai had learned one thing. Tan Huizhong hated losing. Especially if it was to Chen Junjie.

"Shut up! I'll teach you! And then people will remember my name!"

"Yes! Thank you my kind teacher who will surpass my grandfather!" Bohai said with a smile, and bowed to show his thanks. He then ran outside before Huizhong would get a chance to change his mind.

Tan Huizhong watched as Bohai ran away. He didn't realize he had been played until the door closed behind the teenage boy. A vein popped out on his forehead as he walked outside after him. He'd teach him the teleportation technique alright, after he taught him how to respect his elders!
