"Tell me more stories, daddy !" I giggled and clapped my hands.
"One more story, alright ?" My father laughed, his eyes crinkling slightly. His green eyes sparkled as he carefully chose the best story to read to me.
"After this, daddy has to go to...work." he shifted uncomfortably.
"Tell me ! Tell me !" I snuggled up closely into my father's embrace.
"Thousands of years ago... there was a strong demon who controlled all forms of chaos, destruction and evil. Other creatures of darkness followed his rule, and he was soon knows as the king of demons.
The angels realised that he grew stronger everyday, and he might destroy the world if he wasn't stopped.."
"Daddy, I don't know what those words mean." I frowned.
"This story sound horrible and scary ! Don't you have anymore stories ?"
My father's lips curved into a slight smile, "I'm sorry sweetie. I'll think of better stories tomorrow, alright ?
"Okay..." I yawned. "Be a good girl for your mother, my katana."
"I promise !" My father kissed me on the cheek lightly, and turned away, a sad expression on his face.
"Goodnight, dear."
"Night daddy."
I woke up in the middle of the night hearing a crash.
I rubbed my eyes slightly and got off the bed.
"Daddy ?" I called softly.
I ran down the stairs expecting to see my father coming back, but instead, I saw my mother lying in a pool of blood.
"MOMMY NO !" I kneeled down beside her and shook her.
"Wake up, mommy. It is not funny anymore." I looked at my blood stained hands, feeling nauseous.
"M-mommy ? W-wake up..." I cried.
"Please ?"
