In a forest near a small pond, a man could be seen laying on the ground looking at the blue sky. The man has white hair sharp golden eyes thin eyebrows like a sword and a nice jawline. He was godly handsome like the stars at the endless night with no moon to outshine him.

"NASH!"

Hearing a scream Nash opened his eyes and look up to see a woman waving at him with a smile on her face. She looks to be between a 20 to a 30-year-old beautiful woman.

Seeing her come towards him he turned pale and quickly got up from the ground before jump towards a tree. "What do you want mother?" He asks his mother who was now standing where he was before.

"Ohh come on sweety it's launch time! Come down there and have launched with me!" His mother yelled at him.

"No, I'm just going to find something to eat!" He said turning to the forest but before he could get away an arm grab on his ear,

"AW! AW! AW MOTHER CALM DOWN!" Scream Nash in pain.

"No! You and I are eating together!" Said his mother as he was dragged away towards their home. Once they got home Nash's mother let go of his ear before preparing the table. Once everything was prepaid they started to eat.

Nash sat on the table and grab on to the juicy tender meat of a beast he took a bite and smiled with delight at how tasty the meat was. "Hmm still yummy as ever!"

While eating Nash's mother looks at him before opening his mouth. "Oh yea Nash better prepare yourself later tonight," Said his mother with a mischievous smile on her face.

"Hmm?" Nash looks at his mother with confusion on his face not hiding anything at all. "What do you mean mother?" He asks her.

His mother rolled his eyes at his son's expression. "Didn't you forget it's your birthday this midnight? That means you will be exactly 18 and I will have to leave you and...A lot of our kind will be coming here soon...Hehehe" Laught his mother.

*Thud*

The sound of something falling to the ground was heard after his Mother stops laughing. "NO WAY! IT'S TODAY?" Scream Nash in panic after all he was afraid of a woman well except his mother since they have been living since he was born here.

"Hehe yes! And tonight would be the growth of your tail! Since you are born with a human form meaning you will be a nine-tailed fox-like what I said a long time ago!" Nash's Mother said with a smile before covering her mouth.

"And it's also tonight that you would find your mate since its tradition to us fox that when a man hits 18 years old then the woman who catches him first gets to keep him! Just what I did to your father!"

"No way I'm not prepared for this I still can't cultivate!" Said his son on the floor almost losing the color of his face. He said as since he was born or reincarnated in this place

"Ohh come now don't be like that even if you're afraid of females since you were born and you would have to find a mate sooner or later!" Said his mother before finishing what she was eating. "Look there's already so many of our kind here ever since you are releasing that sent of yours hehe!"

Said his mother who was washing her hand. "What sent?" He asks not knowing what she was saying after all her mother didn't really explain anything to him and just let him learned by himself except for telling him how to cultivate but that's before he could attain his foxtail.

"Oh my! I forgot to tell you that before you turned 18 a sent would be release off your body expanding for 100 miles of land and letting our kind know that your coming of age well there's more here since you are very handsome"

Nash turned even paler once his mother said it. 'Why does god hates me? I was just an ordinary man before I was reincarnated here!' Nash thought to his mind. In his past life, he was just an ordinary man.

Ever since his mother told him that woman would kill him if he ever shows his face. Ever since that day, Nash before he died was afraid of every woman he has seen except for his mother.

Now he can't do anything but run away as fast as possible from where he was at after getting his foxtails or else he would forever be 'in love with whoever cath him. It was a nightmare for him.

Nash smiled again and look at his mother pitifully. "Mother, can't you just chase them away everyone?" A park of hope appeared in his eyes as he looks at his beloved mother.

His mother looks at him and just smiled. "No can do you must undergo this tradition or your tail wouldn't grow and you will be a force to not cultivate," She said with a light.

"My life is really miserable," He said head hanging low on the ground with the loss of light in them. "Ohh come on cheer up! No point being down!" His mother said with a kind smile on her face.

Nash once again looks at her before staring at the floor small tears coming from his eyes. His mother dint look at him again and left the place.

"Goodbye, sweety hope we see each other someday!" She said before she left and would never come back again this is what fox does after a certain time they would let their children venture out of their own or they would go themselves.

After she left Nash once wipes the tears from his eyes and look out his home finding two women nearby and was standing there waiting for something.

Nash smiled bitterly before he sighs to himself. *Sigh* "Better get some sleep then," He said going to his bed before laying down in it and closing his eyes. He would wake up before midnight anyways why not get some rest before then?
