Two days after Hitirus' warning was issued, all forces from the Trilogy who could escape from Olavin-Faa did. Most faces that remained hid inside the abyssal darkness of the forest.
Ferals roared at a distant marching Zegus, who kept his arms crossed while slowly approaching them. They whispered to one another, even blushed their messages to each other.
Most of them came to an agreement, this Zegus was none other than Hitirus. And it was true. The Self-made Siege marched closer to them as if he was bored of something.
Before any of the Scalers could spread the message to the Infinus forces, some of their Ferals began to leap and descend onto the incoming storm. Claws and jaws ready.
Hitirus stopped, keeping his pale eyes on the incoming Ferals. Just as they landed before him, he broke out into a wild rage.
The closest to him suffered a devastating blow to the center of her chest hard enough to shatter her spine. As she fell to the ground, more Ferals tried to intervene.
Four males caved in on him, trying to overwhelm a creation who only lived for a single goal. In response, Hitirus sighed.
One of the males swung as hard as he could to knock the Zegus off balance, only to realize he did nothing but annoy Hitirus. As a follow up, another Feral drove his knee into his gut.
The third kicked him as hard as he could on the knee, hoping to shatter it. And the fourth tried to bite down on his neck. Only to feel a heavy hand grab him by the hair.
Hitirus yanked the Feral's head closer to him as he backed away from the other males, completely unharmed. Then he flicked as hard as he could, breaking the Feral's neck.
As the male fell to the ground whimpering, two from earlier tried to confront him with a barrage of punches. Each one was promptly blocked with ease, which made them realize just who they were going against.
Before they could draw another punch, Hitirus unleashed his own barrage of punches directed to one male. Strike after strike, he began to break bones and shatter organs.
When the other male tried to swing, Hitirus caught the arm then flicked it. The Feral yelped after hearing the painful sound of his arm dislocating.
"Learn your place in this region, rebel," he whispered to the Feral.
A single punch clashed with the Feral's jaw, destroying it completely. Blood poured out of his mouth like a waterfall as he became a memory.
Everyone witnessed this, even the Infinus elites. They glanced at their forces, unsure of what to do. In response, the Scalers said there was nothing they could do except to hide from the tyrant.
That's when something caught their attention. From the mid-day skies, several dark clouds rained down to confront the Zegus.
It was their reinforcements coming in to take care of the force, at least that's what they hoped for. Valentine gritted his teeth, knowing an elite had to confront the source of the rage.
Hitirus slowly walked in circles, getting a good view of the Legion around him. Their faces were masked by helmets, shielding them from whatever danger was out there.
Jakery's lightning crackled, alerting everyone of his attack. The sound caught Hitirus' attention, he turned to face where it was coming from.
From the sea of blacks and blues an individual burned a bright yellow, making them stand out from the rest. The sight alone interested the one-man show.
"You think you're big time?" Jakery scoffed. "Let's have at it, then!"
Within the blink of an eye, Jakery got up in front of Hitirus then delivered a strike to his gut. However, he did not feel a thing, only witnessed a fast Variant.
In response, Hitirus tried to grab the attacker by the back of the helmet. Only to grab nothingness as the young Zesher pulled away, then dashed forward with a knee guided straight to his face.
"Hah, how clueless you are. One would have given up by now, but I guess you need to learn," Hitirus shrugged off Jakery's attack.
Hitirus delivered several down-ward strikes, trying to put down the quick aggressor. Each shot missed completely, Jakery dodged and dashed each one.
Then he brought down lightning fury onto his back. Skies parted as the heavy amounts of lightning consumed the defender. In time, even his bones began to glow.
By the end, Jakery stumbled back. Content with the amount of damage he dealt, only to realize Hitirus completely changed. Instead of a Zegus staring him down, this was now a standard Feral.
"Nothing?" Hitirus scoffed. "Tell your puny men to attack with you. YOU HEARD THAT?!? COME GET ME!!"
Several warriors charged into battle, seeking a clean shot at overwhelming the dominant defender. However, with each one that charged, four dropped dead.
Jakery's mouth hung wide open, amazed at how efficient this thing was at killing. Swords used against it quickly returned to their masters, shields shattered by his punch, and arrows driven into the eyes of his victims.
"HEY!" Valentine called out. "Get away from that thing! Take your beasts and soar over the forest, if not figure out a way to stop it without getting involved!"
Panic was all Jakery could understand, something about realizing just how deadly this thing was made him lose his mind. However, he could not let that stop him from sending out orders.
"Hazen, tell those that are still on board to back off. We are not risking any lives!" he yelled.
She heard his instructions. Her mind was numb, she hesitated to do so simply out of fear for her partner. Until she finally cave in and did as she was ordered.
Using her Third Rule, she told all riders to pull back. Getting away from the ground where the creation could not reach them. Even if it tried.
Despite them following orders, Valentine still felt like he needed to step in. So many lives, taken in an instant as Hitirus stood still. He was careless of who was in front of him.
Everyone was slaughtered, killed off without any hesitation. In their final moments, they watched from their graves as Hitirus went warrior to warrior. Striking them down with ease.
By now, many began to retreat for Olavin-Faa. Trying to make it under the canopy where they could be safe in the shadows.
Jakery wrapped whoever he could in his arms then dashed away with them. He was making his best efforts to safe who he could before an unrelenting force arrived to kill them.
Valentine dropped down from the trees, landing in front of Hitirus. Who looked back at him with the trademark Feral grin.
"You shed blood without care. It's such an important resource, one that you don't understand," Valentine said with a deep rasp in his voice.
Hitirus nodded, grinning at his next victim. "It pumps through her veins. I am not wasting any, simply spreading it the land."
"...Right where you'll be. Come on!" Valentine challenged.
