-In the Light Legion-
Verick arrived with the symbol in hand. The dried up blood tainted the several shades of purple it had.
He dismounted from his Sky Beast and went off to search for the leaders. He had to make sure the symbol was in Kas' hands for the conflict to become official.
The messenger found Kas inside the arena, he was watching two Ferals sharpen their skills as combatants with each other.
"Kas, I have some important news," Verick interrupted.
"Important news?" Kas asked bitterly. "Is the news something worth interrupting me for?"
Verick didn't respond, he instead brought out the Symbol of Legion Conflict and brought it closer to him. The torch behind Kas lit it up for him to see.
"Who's blood is that?" Kas asked.
Verick pointed down at his waist. The wound Jakery made was still burning. It made him feel uncomfortable during his flight.
Kas chuckled. "Which Legion wants to challenge us?"
"They are called the Infinus Legion," Verick responded.
Kas picked up the symbol to study it further. His fingertips hovered over the dried up blood and cold metals, he felt everything on the symbol to make sure it was real.
"And they house the remaining Coros members," Verick added.
"Pardon?" Kas couldn't believe what he heard.
Deep down, Kas respected the bravery. He always believed fighting back against threats was the best thing to do when faced with a challenge.
A Feral's roar interrupted them. It was a victorious roar. To notify Kas they finished training and were ready to return to their packs for the night.
"All of you are free to go!" Kas ordered. "Come back tomorrow at the same time, but bring your packs with you. We've got a threat inside Imbushko."
Kas looked back at Verick, he wanted to learn more about the attack. He couldn't tell if they pushed off the Infinus Legion from their stronghold or not. Verick's helmet was expressionless.
"Did you push that Legion off the stronghold?"
Verick shook his head in response. An increasing sense of rage crept into Kas' mind. He was furious at his defending forces, and the Infinus Legion for claiming the cities, stronghold, town, and outpost.
"I sent so many elites down there and you're telling me they all lost??" Kas tried his best to sound calm.
"Err... some lived... but betrayed us," Verick answered.
Kas stood up from his seat, then he grabbed it. His anger got the better of him, which caused Kas to strike Verick with the chair.
The force was enough to break the chair and send the elite crashing down against the arena's stone floor. Verick didn't bother recovering from the attack, because Kas would see it as a challenge.
"Stupid, all of them, idiots!" Kas' voice echoed throughout the mostly empty arena. "I raised them to be powerful combatants just for them to sever their ties with me?"
The footsteps of an incoming Feral echoed behind Kas. It was Dire coming over to check what was happening. He heard Kas mention something about a conflict, betrayal, and a new Legion.
"What's happening?" the Feral asked.
"We can talk about that later. Right now, I want you to tell me who the traitors are!" Kas yelled at Verick.
"I didn't see all of them. But I did see Risk and Decka..." Verick murmured.
Dire wasn't surprised by hearing the name of one of his Alphas. Deep down he knew they were going to betray the Light Legion eventually because of Risk's actions.
"So that's why so many Murmosa Ferals wanted to visit the shores... I thought they were going there to pay Martedeo a visit, but it appears they had other plans," Dire chuckled.
"Do we have any Murmosa Ferals left?" Kas asked between gritting teeth.
Dire calmly looked at the Zegus and opened his eyes wider to represent a happy face. "They are all gone, even the Alpha Female. Now, I wonder where could those little traitors be?"
"Onum probably had a role in this. The first place to go down was a town close to them, it wouldn't surprise me. Ever since Martedeo ascended as the leader of Onum, the Pledron family has become very bitter," Kas added.
Dire backed away from the two Primes. He wanted to gather a Wild Hunt against the Onum Legion for their alliance with the newly made Infinus Legion, but Dire was unaware of what happened to them.
As the Feral walked out of the arena, he noticed the air felt stiff around him. A sense of dread tried to bring down his prideful spirit.
"What?" Dire looked around for the source. "That's the feeling of a Distorted..."
His eyes scanned his surroundings, trying to locate the source of the dread. A Distorted stalked Dire from the shadows between two houses.
"Hey there, little guy," Dire grinned.
The memory of partnering up with a Distorted resurfaced in his mind. He remembered when they all allowed the entity to distort their voices to hide who they were.
Dire kept his eyes on the Distorted, and it kept its eyes on him. The entity vanished, leaving Dire alone.
"Hold on..." Dire thought to himself. "Nothing bad enough to catch the attention of a Distorted happened... wait. That means something bad will happen."
He chuckled. "It's probably here to tell us how badly that Infinus Legion will be beaten!"

Ferals from all packs gathered around on the outside of the Light Legion's walls. Dire called his Alphas and asked them all to bring out their best hunters.
"Congratulations, you all have been chosen to look for a Legion called the Infinus Legion," Dire began to speak. "Now, you may notice you were called out here instead of your Alphas, that's because Imbushko is a war zone now!"
The Ferals took these news differently. Some felt encouraged to look for their Legion and packs. While others felt afraid and used.
"I asked your Alphas to bring out their best Wild Hunters, and they sent you here. Do not disappoint me or your pack. Go, my Ferals, find them!"
The Ferals split up into smaller groups and scattered in different directions.
Some went towards Digon, others towards the lost territories, and some went to Etek Dur in hopes of asking Eterra if they knew where the Legion was.
