Ayuka rushed as quickly as she could to reach Elliot's damaged corpse before Iva was struck down, and she reached her destination after a few minutes of sprinting.
The streets were already ringed by police, and they were discussing invading the Dueling Stadium, which meant shooting down the Duelists in their eyes.
"The earlier calamity put many lives in danger, and nobody knows anything about it... The only information we're certain of is that it originated from the Dueling Stadium," a female commander of the Police Force said, and there looked to be standing this City's president.
The dude was beefy and swole, as well as tall, with orange hair and a pricey suit. "Calm your bottoms! We won't do such an awful event; as I mentioned, if this is the field for the Duelists to demonstrate their skills, we must let them Duel; we won't shoot them down, but we will question them about the situation."
"But, president... We've got a wounded Duelist here, and there's nothing we can do to treat him! We must send him to the hospital; none of us have the ability to heal them."
"Elliot!" Ayuka slid behind the tape as she pushed her way through the crowd. "Hey! You! You're trespassing the tape! You aren't allowed in here, back off!" said a cop as she came to a halt.
"That guy on the floor is my friend! I can heal him, just let me treat him! I can't be late!" Despite the fact that she was still prevented, she fought to get closer. "Young lady, back off right now or you'll be arrested for breaking the rules!"
The president finally spoke up. "Hold on a second, young officer. Hello, I couldn't help but be curious. You said you could help him with his wounds." And she affirmed it while Ayuka froze on the spot before ultimately halting to fight the cop. "It all depends on the situation and the amount of time I have!"
"Isn't it true that you're a member of the Dueling Stadium? Would you mind telling us what's going on?"
"I can't do it! I'm on a tight schedule, and wasting time won't help me get anywhere! Just give me that boy and I'll take care of him!" Ayuka's eyes were captured in horror when the president took a step to the side.
"His wounds are severe, and there's nothing we can do about them; we've tried to treat him here, but it's impossible; we only have a few minutes until we have to take him to the hospital, but he might die in that time."
"That's why I'm telling you to let me treat him first! Just let me do that and I'll explain everything after, I promise!" And when Ayuka spoke out and pleaded, the president understood and allowed her to approach him.
"Just hold on... I'm not going to be able to mend his severed arm, but I can treat his horrific wounds so that he survives," Ayuka said, and without saying anything further, people contacted an ambulance for help, and the last thing on her mind was being late.
- Enrokonai City (Dueling Stadium), Monday, 3:17 pm -
In the vicinity of the stadium, the situation appeared to have spiraled out of control, and Codey's razor-sharp teeth continued to gleam in the midst of his high-speed dash. However, Tim, the opponent, was also out of it.
Tim's flesh began to crawl up the Fiendish Mask's face, covering his skin and turning his eyes black. Tim's frightening mouth shred out a crazy laugh as the instant evil emerged.
Tim took a great step forward, spreading his legs and laughing into the air, transforming into the Fiend that he had previously controlled.
This time, though, the quick lines of aura began to emanate from his body, causing his voice to become hysterical and reverberating into the clear sky.
But that wasn't the only source of darkness on the Field.
With Codey's rage, his emotions erupted once more, and his eyes turned crimson, fully activating the 'Full Demon Grade.' He only employs this power in such situations.
Codey's speed transcended its bounds with a snarl and hot blood coursing through his veins, and in the blink of an eye, his body rose to the front of Tim's, where they exchanged glances.
Codey pushed his muscular fist into Tim's Fiendish face, purposefully destroying the mask, his physical strength coursing through his veins and muscles.
Tim's body was lifted off the ground and launched flying through the air as a result of his increased strength, and the enhanced power caused Tim's body to begin roll-flipping backward through the tremendous damage of the field.
And now, with neither of them in control, the ignores were meaningless, and the Death fight awoke, with the first hit delivering a tremendous pulse, further destroying the region.
Tim crashed to the ground after regaining his equilibrium and restoring his footing, accelerating and rolling across the ground, leaving only cracks behind him.
He dunked his palms on the ground, releasing a powerful burst of Aura that allowed him to leap into the air, spread his arms, and fall on his soles, sliding across the hard ground.
Codey shattered the ground, forcing rising the ground to the sides as he fell from the sky, holding both arms high above the ground and preparing his feet to land.
He reached forth his arm and released an amplified wind distortion, shattering the sky and opening a distorted wormhole through which something flew.
A circular projectile with two blades protruding shot right into his hand, a forgotten and lost boomerang, which quickly connected itself to Codey's grip and shifted into combat mode.
He raised his arm, slammed his sole into the ground, leaned forward, and finally swung his arm, tossing the boomerang at Tim, which zipped through the scattered rubble and split fractures.
Tim grinned as he drew out his sword, swung it obliquely, blocked the boomerang, and then bowed his torso forward.
He then used the sword's blade to unleash his Phantasm, releasing a long-rising wave at the tip of the slash. He released the wave that proceeded to fly through the fractured ground, targeting the one and only, Codey, with increased force and pressure.
But, having had enough of that, our Hero's yell reverberated, and the threatening Aura erupted in a flurry.
Codey stretched both arms behind his back, sprinted straight, leaped high into the air, over the wave, and raised both arms over his head, creating a smaller version of the red orb that he refers to as "The Demon Bomb."
It was flung and locked onto the out-of-control Fiendish ally.
"I've always liked showy attacks! It impresses me!" Laughter could be heard once more. He pushed his 'Spiritual Symbolism' to new heights by grabbing the sword's hilt.
Tim soared high into the air, straight in front of the 'Bomb,' after bursting forth with blue energy.
He swung his sword and slashed through the creature's body.
Then he released a force-filled crescent, catching Codey in the act of making a decision. But, unable to think of another option, Codey crossed-armed himself and received the brunt of the attack, which spread over his body and into his back.
Finally, Codey blew it away and grabbed Tim's face, yanking him along with him and slamming his frail body into the rocky earth when they landed.
When flinging the body up and through the glassed-out building, slid it over the ground. When the spooky energy rose up and Tim straightened his body, the rubble dropped and Tim's body tumbled on the marble floor, shocking the workers.
"What the Hell is going on?" Tim's eyes were fading, his complexion was pale, and he was bleeding from his forehead, shocked.
"Wait! Am I fighting?" Tim exclaimed as he gazed about at the shattered mask. "Don't tell me that's the... Fiend Mask," he said, but he didn't need any more proof after seeing him clutching his blade.
"What are you doing here?! Aren't you Duelists supposed to have rules when it comes to Dueling?" said a lady, pointing to Tim.
Codey, on the other hand, shot up to the higher floor and stepped in front of him, fuming. Tim, too, felt uneasy and had a lot of energy. "Hey, Codey! What the heck are you doing?! Why are we fighting?!!" but Codey couldn't help but buff up his next assault owing to his wrath.
"Stop playing games with me! If you're going to act like you don't know what you're talking about, then prepare to be killed!" Codey ran through the office, surprising Tim, who swiftly jumped to the side and rolled.
Codey threw his fist through the opposite glass, causing a huge shock that turned into the wind, which began to whip automobiles around.
"Codey, stop! I'm not here to fight! Why are we fighting in the first place?!" he exclaimed, but then he realized something. "What have I been doing?" Tim asked, but there was no time for questioning, so he drew one of his knives and swung at his opponent.
But, as Tim regained control and intelligence, he realized that avoiding harm was the wisest option. After evading all of the swings, he bounced out into the street, where he discovered a tremendous disaster.
"Stop fleeing!" Codey yelled as he leaped out of the glass, his eyes gleaming red fury, and he fell, crushing both of his arms, as Tim jumped back, luckily missing the slam.
However, the ground was shredded, and Codey surged forward, pounding with his fist, allowing Tim to defend himself by slamming his own arm against Codey's swole one, and he felt a bone fracture.
Tim ducked and pointed his palm towards Codey's stomach, then unleashed a scorching fire that consumed Codey and began to burn down his hardened skin, despite the pain.
Tim took a step back at that point, noticing that others were still cheering him on, which worried him. "W-When did I get into this fandom?" Kylin exclaimed as she called out Codey's name.
"Codey! What's taking you so long?! Either you stop him or you stop this destruction!" Kylin exclaimed, startled when Tim shocked him.
"Why the hell are you cheering him on?! He's causing all of this havoc! What have I done to deserve this?!?" Kylin dropped her hands as soon as she heard the softer voice and sensed Tim's puzzlement.
"Wait. Are you back to perfect control?" Tim heard her but had to start calling while avoiding Codey's assaults.
"What the hell are you talking about?! I don't understand!" Tim ducked and crossed-stepped to spin out of the way and exchange space.
"Codey's on the rampage, not me! I could really use some aid!" Tim dodged and hopped out of the way, forming a roll as he came to a halt in front of Kylin's body.
"R-Right! Sorry! We don't know either, but you've been going around, beating up random Duelists to raise your rank. You prepared this 'Dueling Tournament' to get your hands on Ayuka, killing her. You've already harmed both, Iva and Elliot! As a result, Codey became enraged and immediately began the third Duel, ignoring the rules."
"So, in the end, I'm the one who's being a jerk! Take care of Iva, and I'll try my best to get Codey back in control," Kylin agreed, and rushed through the street with Iva's injured body.
Tim, on the other hand, ducked as soon as he saw Codey's next punch and apologized right away. "I'm sorry to do this, buddy, but there's no other option," Tim said as he snatched the blade from Codey's grasp. Codey's right eye was pierced by the blade's tip, and blood immediately spurted.
Now that he'd been disarmed, Tim dashed behind Codey, hearing him scream in anguish and closing his eyes. "I can't see! Damn it! It hurts! It hurts!" Eventually, Tim fell to the ground, twisted his wrist, and extended his left arm into Codey's face.
Finally, Tim screamed even louder while bursting out a blazing fire that began to spread across Codey's entire body.
Tim's eyes were wide with surprise at the time, and he soon observed that Codey's rage was cracking the blade.
Tim remembered the 'Spiritual Exorcist' in his blade and immediately grasped the sword, where a black aura immediately joined itself between Tim's pam and sword, and Tim risked another chance of dying to his own blade with a loud shout and pain.
"Damn it! Get out of there!" In the end, Tim pulled out a girl as they both fell to the ground, but seeing that the blade was going to give out, Tim shoved the blade deeper into Codey's eyes and then turned around.
"Cover your face!" Tim jumped down, covering both his and Chifumi's faces as a massive eruption of flames swept across the sky, catching Codey's body and causing him to scream even louder. Finally, half of Codey's face appeared to melt, and he fell to the ground, unconscious with the blood flowing on the ground.
Tim won the Duel after the blade was fully shattered and dispersed into particles, but the sacrifices he made bothered him.
The last embers of fire began to fall to the ground, and the sky quickly cleared.
And then, at long last, the mayhem came to an end. Elliot's wounds were successfully recovered by Ayuka, and his arm was recovered by another instructor from the School.
Our tracing Hero's new sword was shattered, and he now stands bladeless, unprepared for any future encounters.
