"ENROKONAI CITY," a vast civilization teeming with Duelists vying for the top spot.
The 'Dueling Systems' itself are the most popular pastime in such a setting.
The Dueling Academy is recognized for producing the best Duelists, with newcomers rising through the ranks to become pros! People learn their essentials at this "School," which is filled by thousands of Duelists, but the most current activities are their training sessions, which are scheduled three times a week.
The Academy is made up of people of many races, with the bulk of them being Humans and a small number of them being Half-Demons. Dueling is a part of their traditional training sessions, often known as the 'War Race' or 'Five Versus Five.'
Despite the fact that the world appears to be in a state of chaos, the Dueling is mostly for entertainment, and no one is murdered. (Thanks to the 'Zero Watches' for casting Spiritual Shields.)
And the majority of Duelists are tasked with eliminating the top three Duelists!
- Number 3 on the leaderboard: whose title is "King" and whose true name is Tsuji Rokuro.
Then there's;
- Number 2 on the leaderboard: whose title is "Devil" and whose real name is Sakata Hisako!
And their top tier duelist, the legend himself and Number 1;
"Silver," whose real name is Takei Shigeo, managed to reach the highest ranking between both "King" and "Devil" for a massive amount of Battle Score.
Their championships are a sign of good luck, as none of them have ever lost to lower-tier ranks.
The three champions are known as the "Dueling Masters," and they battle with one another in order to maintain or lose their reign as champions.
- Enrokonai City, Moday, 7:00 am -
The day shined brightly, and the first day of the 'Dueling Academy' surged to the forefront of students' minds, signaling Nina's need to get ready as the alarm rang in her room.
Nina had already been agitated by the bouncing alarm, so to start her day she smacked the top of the clock and missed, before attempting again.
"... just a few more minutes..." she said, reaching for it again, tired and unable to hit it. "... ugh..." She had had enough and smacked her knuckles on the table's edge with full power, feeling pain and shouting.
"Argh! That hurts so much!" she said as she sat up and grasped her stinging hand, blowing on it. Her pupils swirled as her eyes were filled with grief and despair before she reached for the clock and switched it off.
She stretched both arms in the morning and yawned her morning breath, "Oh, Nina! It's time to get up! It's your first day at the 'Talent Maestro High School!' Don't be late on your first day!"
"Yeah! I'm awake; no need to shout!" she said as she stood up and walked into the bathroom, where she showered, brushed her teeth, and eventually changed into her School uniform.
"These clothes feel so weird... Long sleeves, with a very short skirt... I was expecting it would be different than the dress I wore in Ronda City..." She clutched her back and proceeded down the stairs, where her mother was already waiting with a cooked meal.
"I'm thinking dad's at work?"
"That's right, honey; he's worried up about work, just like you are about seeing your new school; but don't worry too much; I'm sure everyone there is lovely."
"It's not that I'm worried about THAT; it's just that..." She sat at the table, took her spoon, and gently tossed her bag to the side.
"Oh, what is it?" Nina's mother smiled as she put the dishes in the dishwasher after testing her.
"Don't worry, it's just a private idea; I'll be OK,"
"As you say, I won't bother you with questions. Go ahead and eat; school starts in an hour, and the bus leaves at 7:30, so don't miss it."
"... okay, mum... don't worry, I'll be there in time," she eventually said as her teeth sunk into the meal in front of her, thankfully finishing it in under 25 minutes.
- Enrokonai City (Dueling Academy), Monday, 7:45 am -
The bus arrived at the Dueling Academy 45 minutes later, and Nina's eyes mingled as she exited and stepped to the front of the school.
"...there's no way this is the school I'm going to... It's so huge, and overcrowded with students..." Nina was taken aback but continued walking forward, passing by individuals who were dressed casually.
Nina was standing in front of another girl, whose one eye looked to be different. "Um... Hello, may I stop you for a second?" she said.
"What are you looking for?" the girl inquired. Nina was uneasy, but it was the three blades on the girl's back that made her flinch.
"Well, I wanted to know whether this is the 'Talent Maestro High School?'"
"Has nobody told you about its true identity? Why are you referring to it by that title? Sure, it is, but actually... the school's name is merely the 'Dueling Academy'..." Nina's eyes became troubled as a result of that.
"D-Dueling Academy, ha-ha... Seriously?"
"You succeeded in confusing me; nevertheless, what I said is real; here is the Dueling Academy, where students learn about Dueling as well as everyday labor... and, of course, they have arithmetic and boring stuff like that."
"S-So, the boy I met... H-He wasn't joking...?"
"I'm not beyond any doubt what you're reviewing, but why are you dressed in this uniform? You know you don't need to wear it at the Academy. That's why I'm dressed casually..."
"But... I was told to wear it... So, why don't I need it?"
"It's as it were in case you need. Y'know, people's clothes get ruined. Is there anything else? Cuz I'm really not prepared to waste time. Instructors may be decent, but being late isn't the finest option..."
"Just... o-one more thing. Are those swords actually real?" The girl murmured, swept her hand onto the sword's grip, drew it out, and swung it forward. The metal reverberated and Nina's eyes broadened when seeing the metal, reflecting her face.
"Of course they're genuine. It's a portion of my Blade's set. I need them for the 'War Race' at school's preparing competition, or to fair duel at whatever point I feel like." Nina bowed back, swallowing, still uneasy.
"S-So, the Dueling is really a thing here? In Enrokonai City?"
"Seriously?" The young girl re-put the sword behind her back, turning it and fixed it into the casing.
"The Dueling's being held all over the World. From what year are you? You should go to your class. I've gone through enough sufficient time." The young lady stepped past Nina, who was still scared of being attacked.
"Yes, thank you very much! D-Do you know where my class is? 1-A?" Before asking, the girl pointed her thumb over her shoulder and called after walking to the door.
"It looks like you and I are in the same class with my stupid classmates. It's on the third floor, at the back of the hallway."
"Thank you! Again!" Finally, the girl put her hands down and into her pockets, and walked away.
"Oh, the guardian wants to cheer for the newcomer!" The green-haired boy said, holding his forehead and grinning hard.
"Shut up ..." the girl complained, passing him, and then the same as her encounter.
"... Calm down, Nina ... everything will be fine. There's only one person, I'm sure everyone else is normal! Take a deep breath and let your stress descend!" With a sigh, she walked through the park and walked into the Academy
As it was early, it seemed that many students were arriving, slowly, Nina started up the stairs, passing several girls and boys.
Nina finally entered the third floor and began to close in on her class, having little faith that anybody would welcome her and that no one would be ready to aid her, but then she heard screams, which scared her even more.
"Why do you always start heaping on ladies while we're at a different school or something?" Tim said, leaning over the table and peering behind Ayuka at Elliot.
Tim and Elliot continued to buzz each other forward, with Ayuka in the center.
"H-Hey now... C-Come on, let's cool down," Ayuka said, embarrassedly attempting to stop Tim. "Who doesn't like females with amazing bodies? Look at them, they're all wonderful!"
"Jupiter, could you please charge my phone! I had a minor dispute last night, please!" a female said, handing the phone to the green-haired boy.
"Hah! I the recipient, who received his Element from a God! I shall not charge it! I am too important!" he boasted, much to the displeasure of the females.
Takanori, clothed in deeper green clothing and surrounded by many ghosts, said, "Then you're surely useless if you can't even charge a single phone."
"All right, fine, give it here!" Jupiter snatched up the phone and proceeded to discharge energy.
"As always, you're helpful for something," Alpha said as she leaned back in her chair, her legs resting on the tables.
"Hey! That's not nice! Get your legs off that table!" Codey screamed, directing his rage at Alpha.
"You're new here, so what's the deal?"
"I honestly don't care, but get your god damn underwear out of my view!" screamed Codey, quickly upsetting Alpha, who sprang into a posture and smacked her palms on the table.
"Possibly consider turning away and care for yourself?! Did you at any point imagine that as an option?!"
"Since you're a Half-Demon such as myself and a young lady! That doesn't mean you reserve the privilege to contend with me! Also, who these days puts their legs on the damn tables?!"
"For instance, me! Did you contemplate that one, other 'Half-Demon'!"
"Try not to give me that! I'm a 'Half-Demon' and you know it! I can't help thinking about how great your grades are with that demeanor!"
"A 'Half-Demon' with one eye!"
"I basically have the looks, in contrast to you, flattie!"
"Gracious, so you're one of those! Fine, we should get serious!" Alpha drew out her sharp sword and pointed it forward. "Definitely, come at me!"
"Argh! Call me bald again! You can in a real sense see my damn hair, poop chute!" A kid shouted when his head began to consume on the fire.
"Look! One more day, managing a hotheaded kid! What's more, I generally always win!" Giggled a young lady, gazing upward.
"Take a gander at your adorable eyes crying, Timmy! You're simply desirous cuz' I'm touching Ayuka, while you can't do that!" Subsequent to showing his tongue, Ayuka sighed, stepped aside, and became irritated.
"What's more, present, she will not allow you to get close to me! The affection between obvious lovers!" Yet the second Elliot acted significant and glad, Ayuka stepped aside further.
"Stand by! Wait, stop, Tim!" Quickly, Tim vaulted over the table and snatched Elliot's face. "I trust you realize how to fly!" Tim swung his arm, hearing shouts that were coming from Elliot, lastly sprang him through the entryway.
"You maniac!!!"
Elliot's body flew through the entryway, entering the hall when Nina froze simultaneously. After a fast indulgence, Elliot's body went flying through the school's window, glass shattering, his shouts blurring when Nina flickered a few times.
"Am I even in the right school?"
Ayuka came running from the study hall, goggling her eyes into the distance, and hung over the wrecked window, peering down at Elliot who was stuck in the basketball hoop.
"Yes! That is worth 5 points!" Ayuka called, grinning while at the same time showing thumbs up...
"I don't believe you know how basketball works."
Tim presently slammed with his foot onto the table and made a Hero's pose. "I'm generally there to run the show and getting points!"
In any case, just while Codey and Alpha were in an argument, Codey looked at Tim. "Hello! Asshole, foot of the table!" He overlooked Alpha and advanced toward Tim, subsequent to grabbing his hips.
"Yo! I'll fall! Stop it, Codey!" He was being waved back and forward. "Then get your foot off!"
"Well if you COULD release me I would!" Yet soon the two of them fell together on the floor, shouting when Tim's bum crushed itself onto Codey's stomach, making him nearly puke.
Codey let go, with his understudies turning. "Critical hit... Indeed, even Ayuka doesn't gauge that much..."
"Hey! What?! Your meaning could be a little more obvious! I'm impressively fit! You're in a real sense calling me as if I'm fat!" Ayuka dashed through the door back into the classroom, when Nina swallowed again, stepped for the window, and peered down at the hoop.
She saw Elliot, beat up when he before long opened his eyes and encompassed his body with power. He shouted with giggles. "Prepare! Cuz you went out of line!" Elliot sprang high up with the power, squarely toward the front of Nina and the window, becoming confounded.
"Goodness, shit..." Elliot burst forward, however, the moment he did, he saw Nina's chest size, so his eyes jumped out. "Those are another immense bundle of pups!" However while Nina shouted and dodged, Elliot's eyes turned out to be squiggly.
His body went colliding with the wall, opposite of Nina and soon, he was beaten by an actual wall...
"Literally, a god damn wall." Narrator spoke.
The moment that occurred, everyone griping, contending, and battling, froze on the spot, with Tim holding, Ayuka, and Codey from battling.
"Y-You can let go now..." Ayuka said, burning her cheeks. Yet, the second Tim understood that he was holding Ayuka's bosoms, he froze.
"Stand by, Ayuka! Stop!" However before he could stop her, a clenched hand went hammering into his face, tossing Tim across the study hall and into Alpha, who quickly became irritated.
"God damn it! Watch your landing!" After Alpha hollered, she slid aside and Tim went flying into the burning head student.
However, this caused the boy's hair to cease burning, and the two of them collided against the wall.
Nina was in the center of a crowd of people, some of whom had been knocked to the ground, some had become caught in the walls, and others were simply standing there.
Nina dared to ask after exchanging glances.
"Is this my class?"
To be continued...
