- Mount. Kakuya, Saturday, 2:00 am -
The morning was not the legitimate morning, as Erisa ventured within Tim's and Codey's room, which they were getting until further notice while they train.
However, suddenly, Erisa snatched a ringer, a stick, and started to hit the chime. Quickly, Tim and Codey yelled condemnations when shouting from the certification, and all of a sudden, they were shown before Erisa, grinning toward them.
"It's an ideal opportunity to awaken. Our preparation will start."
Before long, Tim and Codey took a gander at her. "W-What? Please, let me rest... What's the time anyway...?" Codey addressed, yawning and extending. "Precisely two AM." Then, at that point, Codey's eyes started out. "Pardon me?! Two AM, it's not even day!"
"Recollect a title. You should be a Morning person, all things considered, birds appreciate quick wind and air."
Tim then again, snatched his jaw. "Not like I had the option to rest a lot... May as well and should get up..."
- Mount. Kakuya, Saturday, 5:00 am -
When a bell rang, Tim was standing in the middle of an open arena.
Suddenly, wooden targets began to spin at breakneck speed around Tim, who had been standing motionless, waiting for the opportunity.
"All I have to do is eliminate these targets... I suppose this is the process of honing my skill. I'm sure if I complete this challenge, I'll be assigned to Wind Mastery training... Then you'd better hurry up, but first... She told me that I could only use my arms and legs and that no weapons were permitted..."
Tim sighed, scratched his nose, and placed his right hand on his hip. "I'm prepared; begin whenever you want..."
"Are you certain he can handle those objectives? He's never fought without a sword... or any kind of weaponry...?" Looking at Erisa, Codey was perplexed.
"Wind Mastery necessitates a clear mind and liberated intelligence... This must be done to demonstrate to me that he is capable of controlling more than one Kineticism... Very well then, Tim. In the next five seconds, I'll press the button... A word of caution before you begin... The targets will take on the role of your adversary, attacking from all sides. Use your momentum and skill to eliminate all twenty of them. And make sure to get rid of them as soon as possible."
"Sure, I got it..."
Seconds after the fact, the catch was squeezed, and the conflict arose.
Effectively an early advantage for the wooden targets, Tim prepared and the objectives started to fly at him at mind-boggling speed. By steadying his position, he ventured over his left foot, pivoting and promptly squeezing his clenched hand into the objective's center, pounding it, then, at that point responding rapidly.
He crossed over his right foot and raised his leg, and with a sharp and quick kick, struck the following. A short time later, he immediately hunched, detecting that one of the objectives flew over his head, in bid karma, missing him. However, once done as such, he bounced from the hunker and saw an objective flying before him so he rushed and crushed the objective with his clenched hand, then, at that point moving into a flip and arriving on its wrecked pieces.
All of a sudden, one returned flying from the which permitted him to rapidly clear the leg despite his good faith and squashed the fourth objective when every one of them started to swing toward him at a faster rate.
He punched forward, annihilating another. Pivoting and smash it with his elbow, bouncing over the following and moving into a side roll, then, at that point expanding his left leg and swung it, kicking the objective and annihilate it.
He followed up via landing and snatching the floor with his palm and rushed over to venture back up, crossing both of his arms to obstruct himself from getting struck by the objective.
In any case, by getting pushed back, he saw a back column of targets swinging toward him, so he began to use the dividers, by hopping on one of them, and seizing it.
In any case, seeing that an objective was precisely flying into his body, he squeezed his right sole and palm into the divider and skipped over the objectives, and saw a cutting objective underneath his soles.
So to keep himself ensured, he moved in mid-air and sent a down crush, breaking the objective and afterward arriving on the floor, again. He moved forward, saw the following objective, and flipped back, onto a handstand, which moved him into the following flip and jumping over the course of the following objective.
After landing, he quickly turned with a jump and kicked a target in midair, pivoted and saw an objective speeding from the top, so he chose to use the target by crushing into it and bobbed himself back, fixing his situation in midair, and afterward rushed forward by straining the clench hand close to his hip, then, at that point crushed into the target that he was locked on.
The wood breaking was heard, and Codey seemed to had been amazed. "I didn't realize he was this gifted in weaponless conflicts... I wonder who showed him that..." Guaranteed Codey, hearing Tim's groans toward the back, just as broken wood.
"I'm somewhat captivated by this... I figure he'll do fine and dandy in our instructional meetings. Without stress, I figure we can make a fine wielder of the Winds..." The moment Erisa completed her idiom, the ringer rang and Tim dropped from the air, arrived on both of his soles, and fixed his body up.
At the point when he looked around, he was encircled by obliterated wood, all around his standing physical make-up.
"Is that good enough?"
"Everything is in order... You've already completed the first challenge..."
"Great... So, what's the next thing you're going to throw at me? Demons Slaughtering? Taking down barriers? Expressing my Element?"
"The following step will put your swordsmanship to the test. We'll descend to the very bottom of the Mount. Kakuya. We'll pass through the forest, and you'll have to demonstrate your skill and strength with a weapon to me."
"That's fine with me... I've been using weapons since the beginning of this quest... It shouldn't be an issue."
"We'll see what happens... Exit through the front door and come outside to meet us."
- Mount. Kakuya, Saturday, 5:10 am -
Two of them stood at the base of a steep hill, looking up.
"So? Are we ascending or what?" Tim pondered as he waited for a response.
"No. Your friend, Codey, will start rolling down rocks, and you'll have to cut through them with your sword. And if you get hit, I can't help you..."
"Yes, I see... You wanted those targets to kill me first... And now you want to crush me like a bug with those massive rocks... My day could have been better. But who am I to judge? I'm only here to do something 'necessary'... I guess I'll just have to sacrifice myself to the rocks... Who would have guessed that rocks would be the ones to kill me..."
"Now, now, now... Don't be concerned... I'm sure you've dealt with worse, so these rocks shouldn't be too difficult..." Erisa laughed.
"Better than standing still and watching me get crushed..." Tim reached behind him, grabbed the hilt of his sword, and hardened his stance. "As soon as you're ready..."
"All right, Codey! Get them going!" Erisa waved to give Codey a hint. "Before I do anything. Are we certain this is safe?!" Codey inquired, peering out from behind a rock.
"What if you get crushed by the rock, Erisa?"
"Don't be concerned... That's why I'm relying on Tim as a shield..."
Our Hero soon confronted her. "What exactly do you mean?! Are you seriously expecting me to cut those rocks without injuring you? You're an odd trainer..."
"Normally, only the students end up on the verge of danger; I prefer to take full responsibility, so if you get crushed, both of us are!" She smiled, making our Hero feel even more uneasy.
"Whatever. I'm all set."
"Now, get started!"
"OK! I'm sending them now!" Codey thrust his right palm in front of the rock, grabbed the top of his wrist, and yelled. "Wind Blast!"
A strong swirl was centered on the rock's body, and it soon went bouncing forward into the air before falling back onto the path due to its heaviness.
The rock started rolling down extremely quickly, even bouncing along the way.
"This is not a possibility! That rock is falling at a rate of about 200 miles per hour, if not faster!"
"Well, whatever... I'm sure you'll be fine!" Erisa chuckled and rested both palms on her hips.
"Come on, let's go! Seriously, we're attempting to perish here!"
"So? Isn't that a Spiritual Duelist's job?" And those words pushed our Hero into a serious mood.
"Sure..."
"Did I, by chance, push it down too quickly? I could be the problem of this..." Tim drew his sword slowly, and Codey scratched the back of his head.
"Just keep calm and wait for the chance to cut..." He focused on the rolling rock and was about to cut when he suddenly froze.
"There is no way! Move out of the way!" Tim snatched Erisa's arm and drew her behind him, and after she summoned a question mark over her head, both of them flung themselves behind a bush, when the rock smashed the same spot where those two stood earlier, then rolled into the cabin.
"Oh my goodness! That rock is going to crush both the cabin and the child! We're screwed!" When he heard a crash, Codey screamed from the top of the hill.
However, Codey, Tim, and Erisa all screamed as their skin turned white from fear.
"Kaze Style. 'Windstorm'." A drifting leaf was cut as a green and silver breeze was provided reason to feel ambiguous about the kid's katana, and soon he cleared the edge forward, making a hindrance of wind that totally encompassed the caster, and in shock an incredible breeze berserked through the center of the stone, spilling out at an extreme pace of solidarity, and unexpected minutes after the fact, the stone was destroyed into a large number of pieces.
While the kid had his eyes shut, he stopped, with his katana in front, and a short time later, the kid took in, gradually returning the sharp edge to the sheath, and the last wind blast was projected into an explosion, scattering and blowing away the fallen leaves.
Concerning our Heroes, Codey and Tim, those two appeared to had stayed quiet and bewildered.
"Did he just cut through that rock like it was nothing?" Tim stood motionless, staring at the boy who had cleaned his clothes.
"I suddenly feel as if this was not supposed to happen... Miss Erisa, did you do it?" When Erisa hopped out from behind the bush, scratching the back of her head, she questioned the boy, stepping forward.
"Ahaha... It sure wasn't in my script..." When the boy took a step forward, she was embarrassed. "I saw this boy in the meeting room again? I'm guessing he'll be your next training dummy."
"Not quite a puppet... He's just like the rest of us, a Spiritual Duelist with the ability to control multiple Kinetics... He's begun to work on them, with Wind serving as his first session."
"Well, I dare to say... The second phase did not go as planned, neither for him nor for you... I suppose a little more bravery would have caused him to cut down the rock..."
"Hey! I'm a brave person! But her idea of cutting a rock was ridiculous! Who are you to pass judgment on me?" Tim put his arms across his chest.
"My name is Urayama Kazushi, and I am one of her students, just like you..." Kazushi elaborated.
"You certainly appear to be wearing an interesting outfit.... I've noticed it since the first time I saw you... Tim is my name... That's probably all you need to know for the time being."
Codey joined in on the conversation a few seconds later. "How in the world did you cut that massive rock with such ease?" Codey inquired, perplexed.
"It's because of Miss. Erisa's training..."
"He's correct... He's the youngest of my students, but he's near the top. He's the same age as you are."
"Anyway, I'm sure with a little more practice, you'd be able to get the hang of her sessions. She makes them appear difficult, but by the end of her training, every pupil completes them with surprising ease..."
"You know... Unlike you, who had most likely prioritized Wind as your Kineticism... Only on Fire have I been able to work..." Tim sighed as he spoke.
"Oh? I'm guessing you're the Spiritual Duelist who married the young Goddess..." Tim, on the other hand, appeared befuddled due to his inactive memory. "What the hell are you on about? Ayuka? She's just one of my friends... Furthermore, how did you find out about her?" Tim inquired, his face irritated.
"Did he truly marry Ayuka?" Codey was perplexed.
"Of course I didn't, you moron! Don't you see he's just messing with you?!"
("They've forgotten about the past, I see. It's Black Storm's fault, without a doubt.") Known to Kazushi, he then asked.
"Would you accept the challenge to duel me, young Tim?"
Our Hero was perplexed by this. "You're going to challenge me to a duel, huh? You've got a lot of surprises in store... But I can't say no to a Duel, so I'll accept the invitation..."
"That's great... Should we go for a walk to the nearest ocean, where we'll have more freedom and won't have to worry about damaging the beautiful nature?"
"Guess...., whatever you say..."
To be continued...
