Chapter 12 - "Uncommon Sense" (012)

- Mount. Kakuya, Saturday, 5:13 am -

Earlier, just a few minutes before the exchange of glances, our Heroes met a boy Urayama Kazushi, who was apparently seen to be one of the most skilled Duelists among the rest with the Mastery of Wind, despite his age, he can take on multiple pupils, but his current opponent was none other than Tim himself, for once a change in who he duels.

"Just don't kill yourselves... okay?" Codey claimed, sighing and waiting for the duel to begin. "Kazushi, I understand you're both quite skilled with blades, but for the sake of progress, I'll count this as training as well... So, as much as possible, avoid using your Spiritual Blades." Kazushi appeared to agree after hearing Erisa's chuckle.

"No need to be concerned. I'll do as you say..." When Tim stood up straight, Kazushi smiled again.

("I've only sparred with Kyou without a weapon... This is the second time I'm doing it... But those targets didn't seem to be a big deal... But dealing with a real opponent is a completely different story... I'm not here to lie, but I'm concerned.")

"Start whenever you want; we're only here to watch." And the moment Erisa finished speaking, both duelists bent forward and pressed out their Spiritual Symbolism, blitzing forward and immediately beginning to duel.

Tim punched forward directly at the edge of Kazushi's head however missed because of him keeping away from, then, at that point seeing that Kazushi has squeezed his foot aside and vanished in a high-speed wind, showing up behind Tim and quickly clearing his advantage, to expectation and strike Tim.

Fortunately, he dodged and snatched the floor, before long inclination the sharp movement over his back from Kazushi's kick and afterward our Hero extended his leg forward, sliding forward and promptly wound both of his soles to turn on the spot and bowed his leg to the side despite his good faith. Then, at that point quickly bouncing and kicking it into Kazushi's head, however with an additional jump, he missed and Kazushi dodged in a quicker movement.

When Tim diverted in midair from the power of his kick, he turned quickly and kicked with his other leg, then, at that point noticed that Kazushi had jumped once again into a flip, onto a handstand, and afterward into the air.

Tim arrived with his right sole and afterward looked ahead and quickly ran over the ground, planning to strike his enemy.

Yet, because of Kazushi being exceptionally exact with his developments and amazingly sharp, Kazushi jumped into a side roll, staying away from Tim's punch, then, at that point saw that Tim had squeezed his left sole to turn and face Kazushi, who has flipped around noticeable all around and before long came to despite his good faith.

Precisely understanding, Kazushi immediately drew out his edge, turned at mind-blowing speed, and when confronting our Hero once more, sliced forward, and the two sharp edges conflicted in a high exertion.

Despite the fact that the sharp edges conflicted, Tim was surprised subsequent to getting pushed back, then, at that point seeing that Kazushi fixed his position and arrived on the floor with his blade, lying over the ground, a couple creeps above.

Be that as it may, upon such development, the cutting edge hovered over the ground and an amazingly extreme and sharp wind exploded noticeably all around, encompassing Kazushi who then, at that point moved his blade to the front, through the breeze hindrance and released a weighty blast which constrained our Hero to stop, securing himself with crossed arms.

However, impossible for him to divert the breeze back, Kazushi ran forward and jumped, turned to loosen up his left leg, and before long delved his sole into Tim's face, who was pounded back, through the air and got by the windstorm.

Attempting to get the equilibrium in his air, Tim's eyes displayed disturbance, and soon he opened his palm when extending it aside, projecting a hot climate that framed into the fire, which implanted itself with the windstorm, and forming the cool storm, into heat, making a gigantic fire hurricane that was encompassing our Hero, dangerously fast.

Because of the hot fire being seen directly before Kazushi's visual perception, he was astonished. "That is the strength of a dominated fire? It's far-fetched for someone like me to withstand except if I've focused on such Kineticism from the beginning... In any case... The windsurfs through the World, while fire it's a simple fiasco... The inverse of wind... All things considered, the great looks for triumph over evil."

After saying such words, Kazushi shut his eyes. "Kaze Style. Windstorm." In an orbited movement, Kazushi cleared the sharp edge forward when bringing a monstrous air pocket of wind, that acted actually like an obstruction.

And keeping in mind that it was projected, Tim's Flames were blown away, totally dropped of their use which got him amazed, and soon our Hero was caught in an incredible hurricane that was not going to stop any time soon. "What the heck happened to that fire?!" Codey asked, stunned on his feet.

"Kazushi's method that he just utilized, deactivates any contradicting danger or Elemental Mastery... That being said, Tim can't utilize Fire for as long as he is stuck in it." Erisa clarified, very pleased with her understudies.

"You're an awkwardly solid adversary, Tim. However, at whatever point you're stuck inside such a spell, you will not be able to utilize any dominances, aside from Wind. That being told, I should thank you for a fascinating Duel, in any case, except if you figure out how to excuse such a method, you will not be able to arrive at triumph... I thank you again."

Before long, Kazushi vanished from the spot and made our Hero's eyes shake, yet not long after, Kazushi showed up before Tim and crushed an incredible strike into his stomach, causing the breeze boundary and the tropical storm to detonate into a typhoon, which then, at that point tossed Tim through the air and over the ocean, just under the water.

Also, directly in a state of harmony with a sprinkle, Kazushi landed and embedded his sharp edge back inside the casing, leaving Tim, directly in a misfortune.

- Mount. Kakuya, Saturday, 5:30 am -

"I'm not normally the one to tell you this, but you sucked. I've never seen you fight worse than today, matey."

In the meantime, while listening to Codey's remarks. Tim sat in silence with a towel placed to his left cheek, feeling dizzy and horrible.

"And when you're bad in a Duel, you end yourself in the most unusual situations - that's if we look at your previous winning streak..." Codey continued as he sat next to him at a table.

"Well... I certainly didn't anticipate my new pupil to get thrashed like a drunkard, but let's just say it's a typical occurrence after losing to Kazushi... But I'm extremely pleased with myself... Few of my students were able to keep up with him throughout the duel. Tim, unlike others, managed to do fairly well, in my opinion." Erisa said, chuckling as she passed Tim the damp towel.

"Tsch... Whatever he did to prevent my Elemental Mastery from being used in the typhoon, I'll make sure it doesn't happen again. And, as expected, I'll make certain to beat him-"

After sensing Erisa's delicate palm on his wound, he yelled. "That is infuriating! Hey!"

"Man... You're such a softie... In the past, you didn't emit such obnoxious screams..." Codey continued, his gaze falling on Tim's crimson cheeks, which was a result of his shame.

- Hawai'i, Sunday, 10:05 am -

"Ayuka, if you wanted to spend some time with me sunbathing. You could've just stated so, and I wouldn't have objected in the least. Plus, spending time together could lead to a satisfying conclusion for the two of us." Elliot spoke up, leaning on Ayuka's shoulder.

"Would you just get off of me?" Elliot slipped and hit his face in the sand as she rubbed her shoulder under his head and pulled it away.

"This is the strangest location I've ever been... But, because it's a possibility and a feeling I've had... There's a chance Kylin is here... Or, maybe, I'm simply plain stupid and have no idea where she is... Perhaps she isn't in the United States and is in China or Japan. What about the United Kingdom, for example?" She finally gave up and groaned, a stream of sweat dripping down her cheeks as she began to murmur.

"I don't know what I've gotten myself into... This is far too hot for me-" Elliot then took a step closer to Ayuka and smiled confidently. "Are you aware of anything else that's hot?" He coughed, which perplexed Ayuka.

"What?"

"You, the stunning woman who could have an incredible spouse like me! Elliot, the Fastest Human is still alive!" Ayuka, on the other hand, stayed silent and walked away. "Hold your horses, girl! Please wait for me!"

- Hawai'i, Sunday, 10:15 am -

"Aloha! Aloha! The wonderful guests from all around the world! Welcome to the most relaxed environment you'll ever visit! Hawai'i with its mature nature, surrounded by magnificent vegetation and a mysterious sea that only a few people get to see!"

She tried to find Kylin by listening to the region around Ayuka, but she was unlikely to find her in the first minute, so she grumbled and looked at Elliot, who had been attempting to get a girlfriend.

"Now, while you have the opportunity, meet the greatest and most attractive man on the planet! Me, Elliot!" Elliot, as he was known, was smiling and posing in front of the two girls.

"I'm afraid I'm not interested. My girlfriend here is far superior to an oddball like you!" Elliot was left stranded when both girls laughed and walked by him. "G-Girlfriend? I certainly didn't anticipate seeing something like this! There are even boys that like each other's company or more! You know, this is the ideal location for Codey." Elliot spoke up, his chin clenched and his mind racing.

"I'd better leave him alone before someone thinks I'm the idiot who befriended him, man..." Ayuka sighed and ultimately resumed walking along the beach's nearest road.

- Hawai'i, Sunday, 10:35 am -

"Boy, I'm having a hard time finding them..." However, a man soon went by, his hands in his pockets and a cigarette in his mouth.

"I'm not sure if we need to scour the entire city... That isn't going to be pleasant..." The man walked toward a food booth a few seconds later, intending to keep his identity covered.

"Why would those two, suspect Kylin is hiding somewhere in Hawai'i...? Does she think she'll be able to find her here? What was the point of following them if she's that insane... Unless they were aware that they were being followed by someone like me... They either outsmarted me or made a fool of themselves."

"What would you like to order, sir?"

"I'll take your most traditional dish... Poi," The man asserted himself. "Of sure, we'll get right on it!"

After that, Ayuka sighed and resolved to take a break from walking. She went to the drink stand and asked for a Mai Tai, but she said, "Please... I don't want any alcohol." Ayuka asserted herself, while the male accepted.

"Are you a new, here? The Mai Tai is a powerful cocktail made with rum... How did you come to the decision to consume it without alcohol?" The man guffawed and smiled before getting down to business.

"I'm not the kind to enjoy alcoholic beverages, and I'm not even eighteen." The man smiled after confirming her response. "This type of person appeals to me... Typically, everyone consumes a large quantity of Mai Tai and becomes inebriated... They can't even tell which seat is the correct one... If you don't want to try it, perhaps someone who does drink such things could do it in your place."

"No, I'm grateful for your pleasure in serving drinks... However, I don't have someone that drinks these types. The majority of them are similar to me..."

"I'm content. I'll make this one on the house... I hope you find it entertaining." The man chuckled. "No... R-Really, don't do that. I'll drink it without the rum... but make me pay the same as the rest of the customers... It's only right." She stated, rather worried.

"There's no need... Really... Plus, without it, the drink isn't the same, therefore it wouldn't taste as wonderful... But it's still a fantastic cocktail to try..."

"I guess... I guess... Uh... All right... I guess... but thank you..." She took the cocktail and began to sip it carefully.

"Isn't it true that you're not from around here? So, what brought you to Hawai'i in the first place? Is it to go nature scouting or to spend some time on the beach?"

"No... Actually, my strange friend and I came here to look for a girl. Have you ever seen her before?" Looking at the man, Ayuka was puzzled. "It's possible... What does she appear to be like?" He inquired.

"Well... She is a little taller than me, with purple hair and two longer pigtails." Ayuka explained it by demonstrating it with her hand. "Yes, in fact... Maybe... I'm not sure if it was the one you were looking for, though. She continued in that direction, deeper and deeper into the City. She could've gone nature scouting or simply gone to her hotel... Really, I'm not sure."

"Oh, you're serious? Thank you; I'll check into it more..."

"Of course, but if you have some spare time... So, are you Asian or not?" Ayuka became perplexed after a few moments.

"No... not at all... My mother was born in Japan, and my father was born in Asia, according to what I've heard... However, I am primarily from Japan..."

"Oh... So you must have been among those who were affected by the 'Blackstorm.'" Then Ayuka's eyes widened in surprise.

Looking for Kylin, Ayuka came in the cross of a man who has all the earmarks of being mindful of the 'Blackstorm'... What event will occur and exactly how and for what reason is this man mindful of the 'Blackstorm'. Destined to be found, Ayuka stays quiet and as yet, wanting to find a solution sooner than envisioned...

To be continued...
