Ximena was even more sad for the fact that non of her friends were there when she was breaking but they were all prolly solving their shit too. She heard the door knock more frequently than normal but she felt sick and tired to even stand up and open the door, stubbornly she laid still on her bed ignoring the knocks till she could no longer hear them and then she fell asleep.
She woke up few hours later, changed to a leather coat and wore a head warmer, grabbed her bag and stared at her pale face in the mirror before coming out of the door and there, on the knob was a small parcel hanging on the door.
She removed it to see what was inside and it was chocolates and strawberry flavored candy. There were lots of them.
'Who left this?' She wondered and then remembered when she told Kim that her mum gave her strawberry candy whenever she cried, and that she ate them whenever she was sad even as she grew. But it couldn't be Kim who dropped it.
Gina looked so tired when she was done eating as she struggled to stand up but she found it hard to stand well and as she tried hard to move her body and forced herself to stand and then, she fell to the ground and blacked out immediately.
Kim ate silently and sluggishly as she thought of the previous day and remembered the kissed. Her heart skipped as she widened her eyes noticing what just happened, she held the shirt she was wearing around her chest area tightly as if it would help stop the beats.
"What the fuck is wrong with me," she chickened out checking her body temperature to see if she was fine and then immediately drank a glass of water. After was done with breakfast, She wondered where he was as she climbed the stairs to the room she had slept the previous day.
She had not noticed she had missed the rooms and entered another since the interior designs looked the same. She sat on the bed breathing heavily and then she laid flat on it staring at the ceiling, her mind blank for some seconds. And then he came out of the bathroom, a white towel tied around his waist, water droplet from this hair to his hot body. He was looking all cute still.
And then her eyes caught the moment of him looking at her, surprised to see her on his bed.
Ximena walked slowly on the woody bridge all shaky, threatening to toss her into the water but she wasn't concerned. Her mind was blank and far, she wasn't sure of where she was going. All she did was wipe the tears that dropped without she knowing as she chewed on the candy.
She had no explanation for reasons why she was so sad and pained. It was something that had happened years ago and it was really affecting her badly. She held the bridge tight as she sobbed gently.
"What if she had damaged her?" "What if she was the reason she turned out pathetic," she asked herself.
But mum will break if she finds out.
"What am I going to do?"
Lots of thoughts ran her mind as she spaced out often and ate more candy hoping they'll take away her pain but it wasn't working.
Gina laid on the bed and a IV passed to her arm with her still unconscious and Ashton sweating uncontrollably.
The doctor injected some more shots into the drip and promised he was going to be back the next few hours with her test results. He sat beside her and stared at her face for a long time. It has been so long since he had done that, and suddenly he felt his hand touching her face softly, his hand trailed to her hair and then to her own hand as he took it in his and put it close to his cheeks. His heart felt weird.
Kim was shocked but totally mesmerized by his body, she was looking intently at his face and remembered their kiss from the previous day. Again! Again! and Again!!!.
And so just fast he came closer and pulled her close to his body, her arm resting on his chest and their lips an inch away from each other, her breathing increased and as he was about to kiss her and then stopped. She got so angry suddenly and pushed him away.
"Stop flirting with me," she frowned and stormed out immediately. She was sad for some reason, she was 70% sure she had fallen for him.
Ximena sat by the water the entire evening sad, weak and exhausted, and suddenly she felt a presence strangely too close to her, standing right at her back. And then as she turned, she was shocked.
