"I don't think there's anything to discuss." I stood up from my seat and grabbed my bag. "Thank you for helping me, excuse me, Mr. Arga." I bowed my head slightly and left.
Not even 3 steps, Arga pulled my arm to face him. "Can you let me go?" I'm trying to be calm.
"We need to talk Anjani! You are no longer a child! Our problem must be solved right now," he said in a tone like he was holding back his emotions.
"Okay, I'll give you some time to talk right now."
"Here?" he asked.
"Hmm." I nodded.
He seemed to wipe his face then followed me who was already sitting in a single chair near the entrance. We were limited by a small round table.
"Yesterday, I made a mistake, sorry."
I smiled lopsidedly. "Are all men like you?"
"What do you mean?" Arga raised an eyebrow.
I remember about Dana, who used to misrecognize me, who is even now his legal lover. Yesterday, it was Arga who was rude to me. And looks! They both apologize as easily as turning the palm of the hand. I still feel annoyed with Arga, who was so rude yesterday.
"Do men always apologize easily after doing something wrong?" I looked at him sitting in the chair to the right.
"Are you comparing me to your boyfriend who can't even move on from his ex?" I gasped when I heard Arga's words.
"You can read minds, can't you?" I frowned.
I didn't expect Arga's next reaction. He lifted his chair and moved in front of me laughing. I'm still horrified that I'm actually too close to him. I thought the room was quiet and yesterday Arga was being rude to me.
"No need to be afraid, sorry if you are traumatized because of me." I could see the dim eyes and the sad look on his face.
I still didn't blink, staring at him who suddenly looked mellow after he seemed to be holding back his emotions.
"Hmm, I'm sorry, anything else?" I want to hurry up and get back to the office.
It's strange that Arga is like this. I feel like I remember something.
"Can you give me a chance?" Arga leans slightly forward which means our distance is getting closer.
"What for?" I'm pretending to be stupid.
"To be able to win your heart, Jani."
I'm silent. Arga is still the same. Just as stubborn as before. And I think he's right that he doesn't like being rejected.
"You know, I already have Dana," I said for the umpteenth time, bringing up Dana's name.
"And I don't care, you're not tied to him yet. I've come this far and I don't want to go back. Forget about me saying I wanted him destroyed, I will approach you in the right way from now on. I promise I won't force you again but allow me to remain someone who is always there when you need it."
I'm speechless. Who knows. It feels like one side of me is lucky, wanted by Arga. When I think about it, Arga is always there when I need him. Things that Dana has not been able to give to me. On the other hand, I'm afraid. I'm afraid that I'm just a drug for Arga's curiosity. After he was satisfied, I was no longer needed.
"It's up to you, after all if I refuse you, you will stick to your stance so it's useless for you to ask what my opinion is." I stood up.
"Yeah, because I'm sure you'll remember me, one day."
I sat back down with a deep frown. I'm still digesting every human utterance that many want in front of me now. "What does it mean?" I asked.
Arga didn't answer. He just smiled, rubbed the top of my head for a moment then stood up and walked away from me just like that. He's really annoying! It really makes me curious!

Jani returned to her cubicle holding everything in her chest. She was angry and embarrassed because along the way to her room, many people were talking about her. Just yesterday's gossip had made her faceless, let alone the latest one.
"She's naughty too, huh."
"She looks innocent but looks like it's just a cover."
"Why do you want her, Mr. Arga? She is not pretty, she's tacky."
"Want to get promoted with shortcuts, nowadays it's really extraordinary."
And there's more. Honestly, Jani is still a normal girl who won't be that strong in the face of all the intimidating, judgmental and even cornering stares openly like what just happened. Coupled with the words that they shouldn't say without knowing anything about the real problem.
Arriving at her desk, Jani sat down. She let go of her bag, turned on the computer, looked down, and finally the tears she had been holding back for so long fell. Today her department has a meeting but because she had a sprain and had to deal with Arga, Jani was forced to not attend the meeting
The atmosphere in her office was deserted. A small sob escaped Jani's lips. In a flash of thought the results of the events at the office came. Thinking of resigning. However, Jani is not willing to leave the company. It's very difficult to get in there. It takes a lot of effort to pass the selection. She is also not sure she will get a salary that is greater than where she works now.
The company owned by the Arga's family has a very good reputation. One of them is because the welfare of employees is very concerned. That's why it's hard for Jani to leave because of problems like this. She got a lot of experience and new knowledge here. Great team and also a comfortable place to work.
Jani ended her crying session. She took a tissue and wiped her tears. Looking around, it was still quiet, no one was there. She really wanted to catch up to the meeting room but her post-crying condition made her eyes redden and also a nasal sound made Jani not go there. Let her called by her superiors, later, she will explain the problem regarding the sprained leg earlier.
Jani took her cell phone from her bag. Typed a message for Dana. She wants to meet after work. The plan, Jani will go to Green Trees. She hasn't been there in a long time. She missed Dana's greentea latte. She missed the bookshelf where she had first seen Dana. And she also missed the atmosphere that always made her feel comfortable.
After receiving a reply message from Dana who agreed to the invitation to meet, Jani took out the snacks and mineral water she got from the public class event this morning. She ate it voraciously. From now on when sad or confused, Jani decides to just eat. Eating was able to make her forget the problem. A full stomach is comfortable. That's what's on her mind.
