In the morning, Jani woke up from her sleep. Her head is dizzy. All night she wept for Dana. Getting out of bed, Jani immediately headed to the bathroom. She needed water droplets in her head so that her mind cooled down again.
As soon as she finished bathing, Jani got ready to have breakfast with her family. While wearing her sling bag, Jani heard a knock on the bedroom door. She quickly headed for the door, expecting her lover to come.
However, the disappointment that shrouded her heart deepened. It's not Dana, but Jani's annoying ex who came. Rangga smirked in front of Jani.
"What are you doing?" Jani put on an even face.
"I want to invite you to breakfast, but it's not here, let's go outside," Rangga scratched the back of his neck.
Jani looks beautiful in his eyes, in a cream-colored knee-length dress and black flat shoes that match her sling bag. Very sweet.
"I just want to have breakfast here, if you want to come, if you want, let's have a breakfast here, there's a quota of 1 person from my room."
"Well, it's okay to have breakfast here," Rangga chuckled then took his cellphone and looked at the clock there.
"You didn't bring a watch for sure? You usually wear your watch, you rarely forget to bring it," Jani seemed to have returned to her room and took her cellphone to put in her bag.
"How come you still memorize my habits?" Rangga grins.
He walked in without closing the door and then casually lay down on the bed.
"I don't want to answer it, it doesn't matter!" Jani sucks.
"You are so fierce, by the way I miss you." Rangga teases Jani even more.
"Ckh! Well! Come on, let's get up out of my room, it will be slander." Jani preceded Rangga who immediately got up and followed Jani from behind.
Jani and Rangga arrived at the hotel restaurant when only Arjuna and Netha were there. As far as Jani is from the family group, others do activities such as swimming or the gym. Jani immediately joined her brother when she saw her brother and his wife enjoying their breakfast.
"Can I join?" without waiting for Arjuna and Netha's answer, Jani was already sitting in front of them.
"Please, it hasn't been answered yet, you've sat down first like now." Arjuna pretended to be annoyed. "What's wrong with your eyes?"
"After watching korean drama last night, I stayed up late," Jani lied and was only nodded by Arjuna and a smile from Netha.
"Hi! I'll join you." Rangga, who had said goodbye to the toilet for a while, came and pulled the chair next to Jani.
"Oh Rangga? Why are you here?" Arjuna was surprised.
"Yeah, I miss your sister." Rangga immediately complained because Jani accidentally stepped on his foot hard.
"You used to waste it, now you're being chased. You have two competitors, you know." Arjuna shook his head.
"Two persons? Isn't it just one? Dana right, Jan?" Rangga set his sights on Jani.
Jani didn't want to answer because she was lazy. She went to get food immediately and was immediately followed by Rangga. Arjuna just chuckled.
"Don't be like that!" Netha reminded Arjuna.
However, Arjuna just shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly.

Jani was forced to return to her boarding house, accompanied by Rangga because her father had business, while the rest of the family stayed at the hotel until noon, including Arjuna. Jani wants to return to the boarding house immediately because there is work to be done as an HR.
In Rangga's car, Jani suddenly remembered that Dana had not told her where the man was last night. Jani took her cell phone from her bag and opened her messaging application. When she was about to type a message for Dana asking him how the man was, Jani then gave up. She will wait.
"What happened with you?" Rangga ruffled Jani's hair.
They had arrived at a basement apartment.
"Ish! Don't hold it!" Jani grunts cutely. "Why are we here?" for a moment Jani was so panic.
They were in Rangga's apartment, where Dana's apartment was also there.
"Yeah, I'll take a laptop first, then I'll be working at your boarding house." Rangga hurriedly got out of the car and immediately walked without waiting for Jani's answer.
"No way! My boarding house is not an office ish!" Jani stomped her foot in annoyance.
When Rangga finished picking up his things and got back into the car, he could see the restless, sad, disappointed and angry look on Jani's face.
"Why?" Rangga looked at Jani, who was silent with her hands squeezing each other.
When no answer came out of Jani's mouth, Rangga followed Jani's gaze. How surprised Rangga was when he saw someone he knew was Jani's current lover.
"Do not see!" Rangga immediately pulled Jani and hugged the girl tightly.
He felt Jani's body shaking from sobbing. "Bastard!" Rangga thought.
Jani gripped the hem of Rangga's flannel shirt tightly. Her chest tightened, she didn't know what to do. When Dana's car disappeared, Rangga broke his embrace with Jani. He cupped the two cheeks of his most beautiful former and wiped the tears that escaped from Jani's eyes with his thumbs.
The air conditioner in the car didn't seem to be working properly, because Rangga feels very hot. After seeing what was in front of his eyes just now, Rangga understood that Dana and Jani's relationship was not healthy. Jani was too good as a girl and he thought that Jani is not worth for Dana who was insane.
Jani still looks sobbing and lowers her head. Rangga was still silent as he continued to look at the girl whose cheeks were still in his hands.
"Enough," Rangga couldn't take it anymore.
Hugging Jani again while chanting the words of the mantra that used to be very effective when they were still together. " I'm here, if everyone is mean to you, there's still me who will stay beside you."
Fail. Rangga couldn't stop Jani's weep. What was there was even tighter with her hands squeezing Rangga's back. Jani knew Rangga was trying to calm her down. It's just that she was disappointed with her heart, which was willing to be fooled by Dana. Rangga's spell words made her cry even more. Why didn't Dana say the magic words to calm her down? Why didn't Dana hug her and comfort her? Why didn't Dana understand her feelings? Why even Rangga her ex-lover?
So many questions in her brain that made Jani did not stop crying. She was also very ashamed of Rangga. Where was her arrogant attitude the other day when Rangga always came to her? Now take a look! Even Rangga who was with her. Hugging her and protecting her from the damn sight that had already managed to tear her heart apart.
"So this is what made you cry last night, hmm? It's okay, just cry as much as you want to be relieved," Rangga patted Jani's back gently. "After this promise to smile again, I'll be here for you." Rangga knew that Jani had been crying all night because when she met Jani at the hotel, Jani's eyes looked swollen and slightly red.
Jani calmed down and let go of Rangga's arms. "Thank you, you've been very kind to me."
"You're welcome, I also thank you for being able to use your room number for breakfast at the hotel," Rangga chuckled.
"Sorry, your shirt is wet with my snot and tears," Jani looked at Rangga's wet shirt.
"It's okay, I'm ready if you need me. I'm ready if you need a hug and help like just now." Rangga smiled sincerely.
"Thanks a lot," Jani smiled. "To the boarding house, let's go!" Jani has mastered her emotions and invites Rangga to go to the boarding house.
Rangga nodded in understanding then put on his seat belt and immediately headed to Jani's boarding house.
Jani knew what Dana was doing. She wasn't even ready at all now if she had to meet Dana. It was funny, even though she had been waiting for Dana all night but now her guts had shrunk for a moment. Her heart wasn't ready. And it wasn't stupidly unprepared for their bickering or Dana's apology, but Jani was afraid that Dana would choose to go back to Reyna.
