Chapter 5 - The Man who barged in

"You.."

Rose took two steps back as a man approached her. The woman turned frightened once her gaze met those bright gray eyes again after everything that had happened yesterday.

"Hi, Roseane," Edward said casually and smiled sweetly. The man drew himself closer to Rose who was completely frightened at this moment.  Then touched the woman's shoulder gently.

"What are you doing here? You know this is the women's restroom?" asked Rose stammering.  Edward nodded slowly and did not shake off the sweet smile that was on his lips.

The man took out his cell phone from the pocket of the jeans he was wearing and grabbed the bag that was on the table near the sink and grabbed Rose's cell phone with ease.  "What are you doing?" asked Rose who was trying to pull the phone out of the man's hand but Edward didn't pay any heed to her words.

After he finished pressing his cellphone number on Rose's cellphone, the man immediately touched the call sign on the woman's cellphone in front of him. After successfully getting the woman's number through a phone call, Edward had returned Rose's cellphone back into the woman's bag.

The distance between them was still too close and Rose couldn't do anything because her current body had touched the wall. Edward drew himself closer to her until their faces were only inches apart. The man smiled softly when Rose had averted her eyes. You can clearly see the red blush on the woman's face now.

"I'll call you. You know, it looks like tomorrow I'm going to have a drink at the bar and you have to accompany me as a thank you because I helped you," Edward said casually.

"I'm busy tomorrow. I'm not going anywhere. I can scream and my dad can hear it ..," said Rose stammering. The woman tried to focus and ignore Edward's face, which was too close to hers. Edward had now put a little more distance between him and the woman.

"You know..I don't like rejection, Roseane. Besides, I know your house now. Or can I tell your dad you canceled it all because of me?"

Rose stared intently at the gray-eyed man standing in front of her at this time. "Stop bothering me and get out of here. I'll scream if you don't go too," Rose threatened with certainty. Edward laughed softly and leaned closer to Rose again.  The man gave a kiss on the lips of Rose which was covered with red lipstick casually. The woman's blue eyes narrowed completely at this moment. Her whole body felt stiff for a moment as if he couldn't move at all.

Edward stopped the kiss after a while his lips just touched Rose's without doing anything.  "Okay. I'll call you, Roseane," Edward said, now walking away from the toilet. Leaving Rose who was still silent and frozen staring at the back of the man who slowly moved away from him.

"Is that woman really in love with you?"  asked Sam casually after Edward entered the VIP room and immediately chose to sit on the sofa.  Edward shook his head casually, the man had now poured Wine into his glass and began to sip it slowly.

"Did you forget, you bet your two sports cars at the moment," Kevin said. Edward now turned to nod slowly.

"What's wrong with you today? Why don't you speak a word? Are you admitting defeat now?"  asked Joe, crossing his arms over his chest.  Edward looked at all his friends who were currently looking at him intently and were very curious about the continuation of the man trying to get close to Rose.

"Of course I did well. You have to be patient, ok? Let me enjoy my drink for now," said Edward who again intended to pour Wine into his glass but suddenly Marco's hand was holding it and grabbed the bottle containing Wine.

"Do you think we're having a party now? I bet my house on this!" Marco said seriously and half annoyed. The man placed the bottle of wine he had managed to snatch from Edward's hand onto the table beside him.

Edward looked his friend in the eye and got up from the sofa and grabbed the collar of Marco's shirt. "Stop making noise! Don't you understand that I'm trying to do it? You too! Stop following Marco! You know, I always succeed at things like this!" shouted Edward half aloud. The other three men were now silent and nodded in understanding.

"Stop looking down on me just because you always win bets, Marco! You know, the more you ignite me, the more excited I become to make your house mine!"

Edward had now removed his hand from Marco's shirt and had the man fall back onto the sofa. "Look, he's here now," Edward said, pointing at the window of the VIP room where he was staying. The other four men were now staring in the direction Edward was pointing, sure enough, there was Rose just sitting down and starting to mention her favorite order and the bartender had brought three bottles of the woman's favorite red wine.

"Now it's time for me to do everything. Prepare to lose," Edward said casually as he exited the VIP room and started down the stairs cheerfully.  The man stepped towards the bar table where Rose started to enjoy her red wine.

"You've come, apparently," said the man, smiling perfectly.

"Stop bothering me. I came here for a drink not to see you!"

"Is that true?"

Edward's gaze had now shifted to the VIP room which was on the second floor of the bar. The man could clearly see his four friends who were currently looking at him and watching the man's movements. Edward quickly brought the chair that rose was sitting on and slightly startled the woman now. The man grabbed Rose's chin easily and began to put his lips there with a very soft kiss until Rose really fell in the man's sweet treatment now.

"Look. We'll really give him all our money," said Joe after seeing the sight of Edward kissing Rose's lips so boldly.

"Still he will be the winner after all," continued Sam. The man really didn't want his money to have to go out just to pay the bet.  But, still, the man had to admit that Edward was really the best at this.

"That woman will never realize that she was lied to. This bet idea is really stupid," Kevin said casually. The three of them really didn't want to see the next scene of what Edward did with the woman. Because Edward always managed to beat a woman's heart no matter how cold it was.

"That's not at all a sign that he won. We'll have to look at it a little longer. It could be his loss now," said Marco who didn't take his eyes off Edward and the woman who was on the bar stool at the moment.

"Give it up. In fact you've only won once from him," said Joe casually making Marco get up from the sofa he was sitting on.  The man turned angry after hearing Joe's words just now and prepared to give his friend a punch when Sam had resisted his urge.

"Damn it! I don't like losing at all!"
