Aural wasn't planning on either, all she wanted was for a few moments on earth. Just a few, to witness and to feel. That was it. As soon as she saw the angels begin to move towards the carrier, she knew it was now or never.
"Let's go," she whispered to Elizabeth. Yet she felt as though she was talking to a stone as she received no response, when she turned she saw Elizabeth slightly shaking. She could smell the very fear from her, she shook her head and rose herself up just a bit.
"I… I ca-an't… no I shall not… this is against the very rules. This is disobedience. Aural… let us repent before our fathers disown us. Before they cast us out and we live in eternal flames. Eternal domination. I don't want to be caught." Elizabeth whispered towards her friend.
