Chereads / Chasing The Golden Angel / Prologue: Who They Are

Prologue: Who They Are

"Did they ever tell you about love?" I asked as my head rested on his chest, drawing circles where I could feel his heart drumming.

"No, where I'm from… love is forbidden and unheard of. If you decide to choose to have a child, it's just for you to create more havoc." He murmured as he gripped my waist.

"That sounds like hell and not the gateway of it?" I whispered, looking up to try and meet his eyes.

He snorted, "It might as well be…" he said with a small smile.

"How has an angel not experienced love?" he teased

"How has a demon come to hate love without even having a taste of betrayal …"

Aural Cassielle, daughter of heaven's top guardian angel, decides that she wants to see what the world has to offer besides heaven's perfection. She wants a taste of the living but when her father forbids her, she finds the taste of disobedience alluring as she sneaks out of heaven. Yet without proper training of how to control her wings or her powers, she ends up with blood on her hands and is cast out of heaven to make things right on earth.

Aamon Blade, son of hell's prominent king, the one and only Abaddon, is sent to find an angel with golden wings. One that has been cast off heaven because of disobedience but with power that might as well bring heaven's gates down. Only to find a young girl drenched in blood, screaming at the sky and without full knowledge of everything good and evil.

Josefa Demetrio, son of mother nature, literally, half-human half-angel, birthed in secret and forbidden from all supernatural. Having spent his entire life living in secret and constantly moving around, stumbles upon a fight of good and evil, hiding a secret that could save humanity but not his life if placed in the right hands.

Hell, Heaven, and Earth, all different in their ways of living and experience finally come to a clash when three belonging to each one become intertwined. Love, Greed and Power bind them together as a timer is placed on each to make a decision that will either save or bring ruin to one's world.

Only one will stand at the end of it all.
