Lyle bent his head a little so that the lady could reach him a bit more easily. Don't know why, but she just seemed more closer to heart. He liked her immediately.
''Oh... Anna, he is so sensible. And adorable.'' Emmy said as she ruffled Lyle's hair some more.
''Why are we even standing here. Come come. Let's go in. Let's go in.'' Emmy said as she grabbed Lyle's hand with her left and Mrs Wilson with her right.
''We won't be standing here if it weren't for the two of you. One forgot the location and the other forgot to invite her guest in. What a perfect pair of besties.'' Mr Wilson said spitefully.
''Heh... Atleast I came out to get my Anna darling. What about your bestie? He is still at home playing his game.'' Emmy said as she gave him a 'serves you right' look.
''That dammed Henry. Wait till I kick his ass.'' Mr Wilson was indeed angry. He came all the way here hoping that his friend would atleast be here waiting for him. But what exactly happened? He didn't even come get him. That bastard.
''Emmy, forget him. Let's go in.'' Mrs Wilson said she she clung onto the arm of her bestie.
And so, three people walked in the front, hand in hand along with the two pups in Lyle's arm, while another walked at the back with a load of stuffs.
Lyle kinda felt bad for his dad so had wanted to help him but his godmom stopped him immediately.
All she said was, ''Let him carry it himself. He wanted to be the guest. Guest carry their own things.''
''Emmy, I was wrong alright.'' Mr Wilson cried.
''Should have known so before you spoke.''
''Exactly. Spilled words can't roll back.'' Mrs Wilson said supporting her bestie completely. It looked like she didn't care a bit about her husband.
Lyle, on the other hand, was shocked looking at his parents. They were always lovey dovey that he never thought he would see such a scene ever. They were playful and they joked like they were kids. Even their eyes were filled with pure bliss without any worries. He had thought that after not meeting for more than ten years, they might have drifted apart but that doesn't seem to be the case. Anyway, he was happy for them.
...
The group of four entered an apartment in a building close by.
They entered the place which was neatly cleaned and well decorated after changing their shoes.
''Go on in.'' Emmy urged Lyle as he was the first one to finish changing his shoes. So he lead the group of four directly into the living room.
''What took you so long? Did you go to the factory to manufacture it or what? Quick. Pass me a bag of chips.''
