That night the five of us headed to the beach. It was already after ten when we got there. The public beaches were closed, but the private beaches were open for us. And, apparently, Doc knew some people who had private beach houses in the area. To be honest, I was surprised at first that he hadn't chosen a place directly on the beach, then I realized that he couldn't have a pool there and that it would be quite suspicious if people kept seeing a large Dragon swimming in the area. The news would have a lot of fun with that one.
My sisters were going to stay on the beach and keep watch for us. They were going to be having a bonfire and using that as the excuse for why they were out so late. The people that owned the beach house didn't mind and weren't even home at the moment. Then again, they could be somewhere in the ocean for all I knew.
