(\\\) Present day
Isaiah wakes up to Kat shaking him.
"Isaiah! Isaiah! Kat screamed.
Isaiah shoots up from his sleep, looking around at his surroundings.
"It's alright. We just made it back to the academy. You've… you've been crying in your sleep, and we only woke you just now because you have been screaming." Kat said, looking away.
"Yea, we were worried about you. What happened? What were you dreaming about? Carly said
"I'm… I'm not sure. I usually don't do stuff like this. Isaiah says, whipping his eyes.
"Who's Emmanuel? Kat said.
The name stuck a cord in Isaiah's heart. But he didn't know why.
"I don't know, he's definitely a friend, but I can't remember his face or where I've met him," Isaiah says, tears were rolling down his face.
"Kathryn, I think-"Carly says
"I know," Kat said, cutting her off.
Kat leans down and touches Isaiah's shoulder.
"Somebody should have been explained to you earlier, but this is the work of my father. His intent is spread through the entire ocean. He feeds you the memories you hold most dear. This is the power you gain once you're the True ocean master. It is why people are so Fond of the ocean." Kat explains.
"This had happened before once I first got here. Are you saying these are memories and not dreams? Isaiah asked.
"Yes, exactly. I'm not sure who this Emmanuel person was, but I know they had an important role in your life for you to be seeing them. Kat said.
Isaiah felt like his heart skipped a beat.
"So Lia was right… My parents have manipulated my memories." Isaiah thought with a depressed look.

Carly and Kat said they'll go to Mr. DeRossi and brief him on the mission and their findings
Isaiah heads back to his room to gather his thoughts.
"I need to talk to my parents as soon as possible," Isaiah says, going to go get his phone.
Right before he's getting ready to call, he hears his doorbell ring. So he walks down to answer it.
"Hey, it's me. I wanted to talk to you and see how your mission went… have you been crying? Lia says, touching Isaiah's face.
"I'm fine. I don't think I'm up for hanging out today." Isaiah says, looking away.
"You don't look fine. Is it something you want to talk about?" Lia asks with a worried look.
"No…" Isaiah says in a low voice.
"Isaiah, you're a psychic, and if you let your emotions build up, you could go crazy or even blow up," Lia says.
"Blow up? Are you serious?" Isaiah asks with a confused look.
"No, but you can go crazy. You would just be consumed with only one said emotion." Lia says.
"I feel like you're lying and just want to be nosey, but I want to talk about it, so come in. Isaiah says, completely opening the door.
Isaiah explains what happened, how he was crying and was screaming a name in his sleep.
"Emmanuel? And you don't remember this person at all?" Lia asked
"Not just the same, and that they were a friend," Isaiah said.
"You don't think they were love interests, do you? Lia askes with a worried face looking away.
"It sounds like a guy's name, so no," Isaiah says, making a face.
"It had to be asked. But I'm glad it's not a love interest." Lia said, shocked that she said that out loud. As she quickly turns away
"This girl really likes me; she's come to check up on me and make sure I'm emotionally stable. Am I reading too much into it? Isaiah thought, looking at the nervous Lia.
"A closed mouth does not get fed," Isaiah recalls the saying his dad always said.
"Lia, I like you," Isaiah said plainly
"Like me? Like how you like a dog?" Lia says
"No, you know what I mean. Like I'm attracted to you. You're beautiful and caring, and I want to get to know you better, but." Isaiah pauses.
"But?" Lia says her hopeful expression disappears.
"With some of my memories gone, I've lost pieces of myself, and once they return, I don't know if I'll be … we'll me," Isaiah says, looking down.
"I like you too. I was just teasing. I understand where you're coming from, but I'm willing to take that risk. You seem like a genuinely nice guy, and I want to get to know you better on a personal level. Lia says, blushing.
"Oh, so we can take this slow before we become an''us "? Isaiah says.
"Exactly, plus I don't want any of these other females trying to take you. So I better not see you trying to get close to them. Lia says with fire in her eyes.
"Relax, I only had my eyes on you," Isaiah said, lying through his teeth
"Mhmm. Right, so says every guy." Lia says as they both laugh.
"So, with that being said, Lia Harris, would you like to go on a date with me?" Isaiah says, getting up, expanding his hand.
"Yes, I accept," Lia says, getting up and putting a kiss on Isaiah's cheek.
"Wait, I just remembered I have to call my parents," Isaiah said, looking for his phone
"How come? You're not going to confront them about your memories, are you?" Lia said.
"Of course I am. I need to get down to the bottom of this," Isaiah says.
"Don't. I think you should get your memories back first before you do so," Lia said.
"Why?" Isaiah asks
"Because they could change your memories again without you knowing. Not that they would but still. They could have kept you away from them for a reason. Lia explains.
Isaiah puts his phone down.
"That's true." He says, sitting down.
"How will I get my memories back, though?" Isaiah asks
"Easy, we just have to find a telepath," Lia says.
"Do you know any?"
"No, but we can find someone who does," Lia said
"Who?"
"Carly, of course," Lia says
"Oh, right, I bet she can find anyone. But before we do that, I want to get to know you first and become "us." So let's hold off on that for now."
"This weekend, I'll be taking you out on a date… we can go off the campus, though, right?" Isaiah asks.
"Yes, we can," Carly says with a wide smile
"Great, because I'll be taking you to a place you've never been before?" Isaiah says proudly.
"Really where." She asks
Isaiah points to the ceiling.
"Your bedroom?" Lia says, blushing.
"What? No the sky weirdo." Isaiah says
"I've been in a plane before, though." She says.
"Tru, but you've never ridden Air Isaiah," Isaiah says out loud.
"That sounded a lot cooler in my head," Isaiah thought.
"You are taking me flying! That sounds amazing, Lia says, hugging Isaiah.
