"How did he say this thing worked again?" Isaiah said, looking at the spear.
"This doesn't even look like a spear, given how long it is. It's more like a javelin or a machete. It actually kinda looks like the weapon Killmonger used in black panther." Isaiah said, recalling his dad's favorite movie.
"Yeah, this is definitely a Zulu warrior's spear javelin," Isaiah said, floating it in the air (water).
Isaiah then starts rotating the javelin, and it starts spinning so fast it looked like a torpedo in the water.
"I'll have to ask him later and just focus on the battle in front of me," Isaiah says. Then, he sends the javelin flying in the direction of two Komodos coming in his direction.
Isaiah sends the javelin through the eye of the komodo closest to him; he figured their scales would be too strong to penetrate through. Instead, the javelin easily penetrates through the skull. It ends up on the other end of the komodo with little resistance.
As the javelin passed through the komodo, it began to form light ice around it, freezing it. Once it hit the ocean floor, it shatters like a statue.
"Oh, now that's cool. Isaiah said as he took out the second Komodo in the same manner.
Isaiah started taking out Komodos at a much faster rate once he realized the javelin could penetrate their scales.
"I'm starting to feel like sword cultivator in a manhua," Isaiah said as he put one hand behind his back and lifted two fingers along with his thumb controlling the javelin.
After about an hour of fighting, Kat and Carly managed to 150 of them while Kenny and Isaiah killed 53. Kat killed one more when they all realized that the Komodos have stopped coming.
"I'm guessing this is where the real fun begins?" Isaiah said in the mind link catching his javelin as it flies back to him.
The 5 humans on the backs of komodos were now much more clearly seen. Some had rifles others had melee weapons. They all gave off a little bit of power from what Isaiah could feel.
"The whole point of me getting this system is to be able to inspect other people's abilities, yet I still can't do that." Isaiah thinks to himself.
[The host will unlock the inspect-ability when the time is right and the fates dim it necessary.]
"Fates? I've heard that somewhere before; I just can't remember where," Isaiah thought.
Isaiah and Kenny rally to where Carly and Kat are.
"Kathryn, how many do we need alive for you to integrate them," Carly said in the mind link.
"One," Kat replied, pointing to her victim.
"Kill them all, accept him," Kat said, pointing to the human in the center of the other four.
"He's the one controlling them, I'm sure of it." Kat thought to herself.
"I'll take out the rest of the Komodos and maybe one of the guys with a rifle if you don't kill him before I can," Isaiah says in the link.
"Are you sure you can handle the remaining 30 komodos?" Kat said with worry in her voice.
Isaiah freaks out for a second when Kat looks in his direction.
Kat looks away quickly, embarrassed because she knew she didn't look the prettiest in her current form.
"Yea, I'll be fine; wait to hold up. I want you to see this next move," Isaiah said. He feels embarrassed for being scared of Kat in her serpent form, so he wants to try to impress her to make up for it.
Isaiah finally recalls how the javelin works; he begins to recall the words of Kenny.
Isaiah, still holding the weapon, starts to focus his body temperature in his right hand, holding the javelin. The javelin begins sucking all of the cold energy from Isaiah's hand.
He gets in a throwing stance then launches the javelin at a blistering speed. The first Komodo it comes in contact with couldn't react in time. After the javelin passes through its body with ease, it leaves a decent size hole.
Isaiah starts taking control of the javelin and pushing the speed even further. The javelin penetrates through all of the Komodo like a speeding bullet. From a distance, it looks like someone was playing fruit ninja.
Isaiah catches the javelin in his hand before the komodos hit the seafloor and shatter.
Kat smiles at the scene. "Now, let's begin the end game," she says.
