(Jace's Pov)
I couldn't sleep so I went upstairs to the garden house. I sit there watching the flowers bloom. I hear a crash; I turn around to see Clary on the floor. I ran to her and helped her up.
"What happened?" I asked.
"I guess I just tripped." She said, starting to laugh. I laugh along with her. I look around on her body to see if there are any. I then realized there's a big cut on her arm. I take out my stele and activate her healing rune on her neck.
"Oh, thank you." She said, smiling at me.
"As long as you're, okay?" I said hugging her. She just nodded, I let her go and I leaned in closer. I pressed my lips against her soft lips. I deepen the kiss by putting one of my hands on her cheek and my other hand around her waist pulling against me. Once we pull away, I kiss her cheek and grab her hand pulling her to a bench for us to sit on. We just sit there and look at the flowers. I look at Clary and see her drawing the garden.
"That's very beautiful, just not as beautiful as you," I said, kissing her head. She just looks away and blushes. She is so beautiful, so much more beautiful than any other girl I have been with.
After a while, I see Clary has fallen asleep on my shoulder. I move her sketchbook away and pick her up. Carrying her to her room, laying her on the bed. I take off her boots, grabbing her weapons, and stele, putting them on the bedside table. Then I tuck her in and kiss her head, leaving the room. I go change and get in bed. Falling asleep to the beautiful image in my head.
(Izzy's Pov)
I wake up to my alarm, I looked at the time and it's 6:00 am. I get up and get in the shower. When I'm done, I do my make up routine. I go to Clary's room to see her still in bed. I open the blinds and tear the blankets off of her, to see that she is still in her clothes from last night. I shake her awake, but she doesn't budge. I call Jace to get him to wake her up.
"Jace, get in here," I yell. He comes running in with his seraph blade looking for danger.
"Wait, why did you call me in here?" Jace asked, putting his seraph blade back.
"I need you to wake her up, she won't wake up," I said, putting my hands on my hips.
"W-Why do you think I can wake her up?" He stutters. Since when does Jace stutter, she has affected him.
"Please Jace, you have changed since you met her, now please wake her up," I said. He just nodded his head walking towards her on the bed. He put his hand on her cheek, and his other hand on her shoulders shaking her.
"Come on, Clary, wake up." He said and she instantly woke up. As soon as she woke up, I pushed Jace out of the room.
"W-What's happening," she said, turning over to see it's 6:00 am.
"Why did you wake me up at 6?" She said, covering her eyes from the light. I pull her arm up to make her sit up.
"I want to go shopping". I spoke. She looked at me like I was crazy.
"Why now?" She said getting pissed off.
"Come on, let's get you ready." I picked out some of her clothes, and gave them to her. I pushed her in the bathroom to get ready. Once she gets out, I sit her down in a chair and do her hair and makeup. I keep her hair down, but I grab a straightening iron and straighten her hair. Then I do a simple make up with mascara, some blush and a pink lip gloss.
After we were done, we made our way to the mall. Once we get to the mall the first place we go to is Victoria's secret. I grabbed a bunch of bras and underwear, giving it to Clary to try them on. I grabbed some for me and I waited for Clary to come out. After a while we leave Victoria's Secret with lots of different pairs. After that we went to a lot of other stores.
"You know Clary, you're really pretty." I say sitting on a chair. She comes and sits down next to me.
"Thank you?" She speaks.
"So, what's up with you and Jace?" I wait patiently for an answer.
"C-Can you keep a secret?" She asked. I nod my head vigorously.
"Well, the truth is we have kissed multiple times, he has saved me multiple times and I really like him. He has made my life so much better; I live with Valentine and Jonathan so my life isn't so good." Clary says.
"If you wouldn't mind if I asked what happens at home?" She just takes a deep breath and nods.
"V-Valentine killed my mother and then took me. He started to h-hit me and use me as his personal punching bag." She starts crying. I pull her in a hug, having her cry into my shoulder. "That's not all, there's more. J-Jonathan started t-touching me in certain places, and if I tried to escape, he would tie me up and do it for longer I would usually black out." She starts crying even harder.
"I'm so sorry that you had to go through that, does Jace know?" I asked her to wipe her nose and eyes.
"He only knows that Valentine would beat me up. He was there when I went to get my stuff and I got attacked and he saved me. I-I couldn't tell him about what Jonathan would do to me, what if he h-hates me or finds me d-disgusting?" Clary asked, freaking out.
"Clary, I have seen how Jace was before he met you and right after. You changed him, he's happier it's so easy to tell that he's in love with you. You telling him that your demon blooded brother rapes you, won't scare him away. He would never think that about you, that's not going to change his mind. He would only get mad and would want to kill him, you have nothing to worry about." She smiled after I said that.
"C-Can you not tell him I'm not ready for him to know?" She asked. I just nodded while standing up. I grabbed her hand and helped her stand up. After we were done talking, we made our way back to the institute. We walked into the institute with a lot of bags on each arm. We both made our way to our rooms to put our bags away. I look at the time and it's 11:40 pm, so I change and go to bed.
