I settled my belongings in my room and went to sleep. Next day, I did my morning routine as usual and came to the ground as per given time. I saw there were only few students with me and it was a bit unusual as the whole ground used to be filled with the students. The coach came and took the attendance of us few students and told us that we are selected to be sent on the mission. We all looked happy and congratulated each other as I had developed a good bond with all of my fellows in this time. I was happy for myself as well for all of them. The coach made a sudden whistle that was enough to bring all of us from our dilemma. He made an announcement that was :
" I congratulate you all. It is an honor for all of you that among the thousands of students you ten are selected and it's also a proud moment for me that my students are going to serve for the country. It is not as easy task as all of you are thinking ,it's a great responsibility and duty of yours as a true cadet of the country. I believe that I will find you all best in your skills of fighting against the enemy even if you have to sacrifice your own lives. "
We all were persistent towards our goal of serving for country. Our eyes were sparkling from the staunch faith in ourselves and we were unshakeable. We were told that our training will start from the next day so we all decided to take a quick round of our college as we all didn't knew if we would be able to see it again or not . We walked in the group and we all were joking and enjoying each other's company. All memories were associated with this place and we reminded each moment at each place and laughed like crazy on our stupid stuff. After it, we all did a great dinner and came to ground to blow some fireworks to celebrate our success.
I saw those fireworks in the sky . There was a time when fireworks I used to be scared of them as they had symbolized demons to me. In the burning colour, my mind created the narrative, seeking meanings when there were none. But now, I saw the brilliant soaring vermillion, golden and acid green flares for what they were; igniting minerals crafted to resembles the flowers bursting at high speed. I marvelled at the skills of their makers . I enjoyed the thrill of shuddering the sudden bangs and smiled at the startled gasps of my fellow.
It was such a good day and after the end of show we all went to our rooms. After changing , I went to bed , I felt a great pleasure as my destination was in front of me. I prayed for our success and traveled in my dreamland with a bright smile on my face.
