Chapter 17 - Melting Of Heart

She was preparing for the mission when someone knocked the door.

Ayan POV

I was packing my stuff, when the sudden knock on the door caught my attention. I opened the door revealing a delivery boy. He asked me if I am Ayan, I nodded and he gave me the parcel. I felt strange as I had never received such parcels. I tried to recall if I had ordered something but I didn't remembered. I took a seat to open the parcel. There was no name of the giver. I started to unwrap the parcel. It was beautifully packed. As I opened the box, a sweet fragrance hit my nostrils. It felt like a book inside the box. I took out the book from inside and was shocked to see his picture with some other boys on it.I stared at his picture for a long time. I started to move from one page to another . His pictures with some quotations caught my eye. As I read one

See"me" and "you" are the same too

Though that doesn't mean I am you

I want to be a part of your page

I want to interfere in your story

As your lover

I was astonished and tears started to roll down my cheeks unconsciously. I took out CD and met with a small wrapped paper. I opened it and ,"moonchild" was written on it . I saw through the list and found the name. I played the song. As I listened to it ,cold shivers passed down my body. I felt like he was caressing my hand while singing it. It seemed like my heart beat has gained its old rythm. My heart was beating on his name. I was craving for voice, for his hugs and just him.

I took my phone from the side table and my hands unintentionally typed his name. I opened the chat and saw the last message he sent me a week ago. I started to type with my trembling hands but just wrote

"Thank you"

I wanted to say more to him. I wanted to tell him that I still love him. I wanted to walk down the street with him.I wanted to enjoy my favourite ramen with him. But I didn't wanted to give him any false hope because I didn't knew that I would return or not. Here my country was more important than my personal life. I wouldn't give up on my dream for which I have worked hard day and night. I shrugged off my thoughts and after getting dressed, I went out and saw that my team was already waiting for me. I almost ran and joined them.
