Chapter 58: Guild

{Congratulations, you will be provided with 1,000 EXP for being the first player to become a Sage}

I then looked around me, to see Naido-sensei and Anko look at me with surprise and relief.

It took me a while to convince them that nothing had happened with me, and that I had met the White Snake.

Anko was suspicious at first, considering that the Snake didn't usually meet any of the normal summoners, but she eventually dropped the topic.

Following talking to sensei, I was able to meet with Ayumi, since today would be the day that she unlocked her aspect.

"You arrived just in time." Yuki told me as I walked up to him, Ayumi, Ryuko and Mio.

"So, you did finish the quest today?"

"Not only that." Ryuko, who was sitting down leaning against a tree said. "She also logged out and manifested it in real life."

Ayumi, who now to me seemed like she was just copping from her shock, seemed to concentrate on her surroundings.

But she was quickly able to regain her confidence as she turned towards me, her eyes filled with what seems like dependance.

"What is the next step?" Questioned Mio as she looked towards me.

Right now the entire group was heavily dependent on me, looking at me to lead.

"We need to expand the guild. Finance is our main problem." I told them.

"We need to be able to afford the Pods for our Guild members. Then there's the matter of making them rank up. Right now the majority of players have barely reached the Chunin rank." Yuki nodded as he added.

Even his family wouldn't be able to afford the massive operation I was looking for.

"Honestly, I don't think we can make the biggest possible expansions until the world knows about the Aspects." I told the group. "But we can gather all players in the Hidden Leaf under our banner."

"I concur," Ryuko added as he was nodding.

"So, we should go for those extreme achievements and earn a shit ton of EXP to make our players stronger." I told them. "For now, we will go for quality over quantity."

"Then I believe we will start soon, players from the Mist Faction have been talking about massive movements from the Hidden Leaf for 1 last assault." Mio mentioned.

I nodded since I knew about that as well.

"Then I believe it is time for you to tell us about your aspect, Ayumi."

"Oh." She replied as the group looked at her.

"The Aspect itself is called 'Untouchable.' When I am healing someone, all long range attacks will miss against me." She told us which shocked me completely.

All Ranged attacks would miss? That was majority of elemental Jutsu from basic Ninja!

"My secondary ability, Spead, is that I can also distribute the attacks someone has tanked among my allies. For example if someone takes a slash to their chest which should kill them, upon contact with me, all allies will take a small portion of the attack."

"I see." I muttered, that was a really useful ability.

Even if one person completely took the aggression of an enemy and an attack which should end their life, Ayumi has a chance to save them.

"That is amazing!" Mio exclaimed as she high-fived Ayumi.

The other 2 nodded, since it really was a useful ability.

Mio herself also did have a really useful Aspect.

Her Aspect, 'Zephyr Dominion,' was essentially the control over Wind.

Mio's first ability allowed her to control the air around her to let her and her allies take flight. Obviously she could control herself much more easily, but she could also carry Allies to a certain extent in the air.

Her next ability allowed her to purify the entire air around her, basically nullifying all the poison inside of a sphere of her control.

Then there was also Ryuko, who with raw power in Kenjutsu, might be the highest one in the entire group.

His Kenjutsu usage was off the charts, and he focused on nothing but the sword.

His Aspect, Blade Ascendant, gave him an overpowered passive skill and 2 normal skills.

The Aspect of Blade Ascendant gave him exceptional swordsmanship, transforming him into a master of the blade with unmatched physical prowess and skill.

He was essentially able to pick up things with the sword as fast as something I would with my Shadow Dance.

And with his first ability, his speed in Kenjutsu trumped me. 'Near Perfect Form' allowed him to instinctively feel the optimal form to use the sword for himself, and he would adapt and swing the sword in a near perfect way.

His next ability, Unbreakable Will, made him become an extension of their willpower, making it virtually unbreakable and able to withstand tremendous force.

I have yet to spar frequently with Ryuko due to my busy schedule, but I knew he was someone I could learn a lot from for Shadow Dance.

"It seems like each of us have useful Aspects so far, this is good." Yuki commented, as the others nodded too.

Thus far, everyone inside of Guild had useful combat or support applications.

"Now for getting more players, I might have something to add." Yuki continued. "Naido-sensei has recommended me to join the Anbu Squad."

I nodded at that, since this was something he had already mentioned to me before.

With his move there, our squad would normally have 1 man short, but I didn't expect us to stick together all the time.

Especially since he was now also a Chunin rank officially.

"That is good." Ryuko nodded, which was true.

A lot of Elites would be in the Anbu, so if any player did manage to go there it meant that their combat strength would be off the charts.

"Well then, I guess all there is, is for us to decide a name." Mio said as she turned towards me.

Since I was the Guild Leader, they just assumed that the responsibility would fall towards me.

"How about the name 'Shadow'?"

Inside of the Hokage's office, Naido and the Hokage were talking to each other.

"I thought you would change your mind and recommended Shikomu." Hiruzen said to the man standing in front of him.

"I thought so at first, but Shikomu's development is completely different from where he is moving right now." Naido said. "That boy has taken the Nara clan's Shadow Manipulation to new heights, yet is still focusing on so many different Jutsu. Adding a Tailed Beast he has to convince to borrow Chakra is not something he has the time for."

"I understand that…Also, the Mist has not been happy with us keeping a Tailed Beast." Hiruzen stated.

"If you have an order, Lord Hokage, just say it." Naido mentioned without any particular reaction on his face.

"I wish for you to lead a Squad into the Mist and assassinate their entire Higher-Ups." Hiruzen said after signing.

"Is this what you wish for Lord Hokage?" The Mad Monk questioned.

"It is for the good of the village."

The Monk didn't say anything as he nodded at the Hokage's orders.

Yet right before he exited the room the Hokage continued.

"I also wish for 2 more things, Naido."

Naido looked towards the Hokage and waited for his orders.

"The Leaf has been passive for too long…I wish for you to capture the Jinchuriki of the Mist, and also recapture the Ninja' of ours the Mist has."

Authors note:

Unfortunately this isn't a continuation of the fanfic. I simply had a couple of spare chapters I wanted to upload.

I am currently trying a new project, which is basically my own novel but I will be uploading it as a fanfic since honestly I write mainly for interaction with people.

I write to share ideas and run through scenarios with people, so I hope you will try my new project out.

It is called "Eternal Heir."

Do not subscribe to patreon for this fanfic anymore thanks.
