Alright so basically my idea for the general shape of the world is just Pangea, but they have been slightly diffused with the BIG ARCTIC LAKE separating Canada and Greenland from Russia that's it.

There are five countries in the current world as a massive war broke out between the 76 countries around the world many years prior which eliminated many political leaders. There is now the W.A (World Alliance) for the remaining nations which will hopefully stop future wars and solve their conflicts more peacefully.

The five remaining countries are Torraton, The Middle Kingdom, The Federation of Manifest, Ashin, and The Confederation of Ferling each having their own specialties.

Torraton is arguable the biggest country occupying the entire northern section of the world by themselves with the only land connection to another country being to The Middle Kingdom. They are a nationalistic nation also with the most population of 32% of the world.

The Middle Kingdom is the second largest country in the world made up of almost exclusively oriental people except for tourists who appear every once and a while. The country is in a strategic trade location on the upper middle section of the world and connects to 3 other countries being Torraton, The Federation of Manifest, and Ashin. Being the second largest they also have they corresponding population to go with it of 26% of the world.

The Federation of Manifest is the second smallest nation, but the most diverse in population and races. The country is located in the middle to the east of the world surrounded by all other countries except Torraton. The population also being second smallest of 14% of the world.

Ashin is the smallest nation based mostly on religion. The country has 3 of the 5 main cities of the world's early civilization along with many religious figures and religious origins. The country is located in the lower middle west surrounded by all countries except Torraton. They have the smallest population to boot with 8% of the world.

The Confederation of Ferling is made up of 18 of the original 76 countries who formed an alliance to protect each other during the world war. Located in the southern section of the world they are surrounded by The Federation of Manifest and Ashin above. They have the median of country population with a steadfast 20% of the world population.

The world war started when one of the countries in what is now Torraton declared war on Torraton (the original), since the negotiation treaty sent to them was extremely demanding and almost impossible to fulfill. It was for a previous war in which they had a minor scuffle in which Torraton had lost.

They had already been at odds with each other for a long time already and wanted the materials each had produced. Torraton was a coastal country while the other was land-locked and wanted in on the ocean market.

After the declaration many countries stepped up to join either one of the sides because of their alliances, but since those alliances were made up like extremely complicated webs and some were even on both sides it was a disaster as it only gave a reason for many to attack their rivals in the name of protecting their allies from the opposition.

In the end when countries only numbered in the single digits did fighting begin to slow down and eventually stopping when the World Alliance was made to prevent future conflicts.

Each country which survived were already powerhouses of their individual section, except the confederation, which only used the war as a means to gain new territory.

The war had lasting effects on all countries as each one dealt with the consequences differently. Torraton neglected many of it's new territories and instead focused on the cities of the original nation as well as it's allies. The Middle Kingdom quickly redistributed it's land to their people to create new cities and farmland. The Federation of Manifest immediately started to expand as people started heading west to buy up some land. Ashin began mass conversions of anybody who wasn't religious into any of the known religions. Meanwhile The Confederation didn't do much new as everyone still had their land.

As of 2020 it has already been 80 years since the war started and 69 since it ended, though some scars of the war still show itself every once in a while. Mostly in Torraton as the "conquered" people of old nations still rise up every once in a while to rebel.

The Confederation was supposed to be a temporary thing between the 18 nations, but if they felt if they broke up now they would be too weak against any of the other nations.

Ashin is now a mostly peaceful nation of religious believers in their own sections of the country. People would usually only come for religious/spiritual guidance or to research and study the ruins of the most prominent old civilizations.
