"On here!" Dunnia spoke over Camilla. She took a deep breath. She didn't want to get into trouble with Dunnia at a time like this. The biggest concern was Alex's well-being, not silly little nitpicking she didn't even deserve her time with.
The doctor approached with a chart in hand.
"Are you his wife?" he asked and Dunnia scowled.
"I am." Camilla replied. The doctor then turned to her.
"He is not at risk of life. The knife didn't hit him in a fatal spot. It was very close to his spine, but it didn't penetrate. He will just need rest. The amount of blood was not enough for him to have more problems than a little transfusion would not solve."
Camilla breathed a sigh of relief. Alex would be fine.
"Can I see him?" She asked. Dunnia placed herself in front of her.
"I am his mother. If anyone has to see him, it's me!"
