After making it out the strange but awe-inspiring buildings in the estate of the Yang family and both Shenyan and Xiao Mei found themselves in front of the gate and they were immediately stopped by one of the guards stationed there due to Shenyan strange clothes, that was not the norm around here.
"Halt! What business do you want to attend with that person over there. Did you receive permission to take out the intruder?" This guard was amongst the guards that came to the courtyard in the morning the day before when Shenyan suddenly dropped in on their young miss's courtyard.
Today this guard's shift happens to be guarding the gates and not the inside of the estate. He had no idea how this strange boy managed to slip past their guard and made it all the way into their young miss's courtyard, but one thing he knows for certain was that he cannot simply just let him leave like that, at least not before confirming where he was heading to.
