Shenyan was busy stuffing his face with a whole table full of food before he noticed the two individuals who entered the restaurants. When he saw them, he did not pay any mind to them since rich families like them come all the time— ever since he started working in the restaurant.
What he did not expect was the subsequent events that occurred after that— the people in the restaurant were all afraid of the two individuals who entered the restaurant and then suddenly, a furious shout came out from one of the two individuals— which shocked him greatly as he did not expect a commotion to arise the moment they sat down next to their table.
He turned his head with roasted meat still in his mouth and he notice that one of the waitresses was serving them, but she was now panicking— upon a closer look, that waitress was one of the new hired waitresses so she might have not known how to better serve the two individuals.
"Haah..." Shenyan hesitated for a moment as he let out a sigh under his breath while looking at his food, thinking about how he would have to heat all this up again before eating.
He reluctantly got up from his table— full of delicacies that he was stuffing his face with but before he could approach the two individuals' table, a soft and sweet voice resounded throughout the entire restaurant and with it a pressure which felt like it could stop anything from approaching the source of that pressure.
Shenyan was momentarily shocked by this pressure since this was his first time experiencing something like this, but he soon came to his senses and calmly approach the table despite the pressure that is pressing on him— almost as if he were not affected at all.
"Hm?"
The young girl suddenly notices that a presence was approaching them. It was then that she realized that she accidently released her cultivation base pressure when she was angry just now.
The presence was a young boy who appears to be around her age but what surprised her was that the boy appeared to be unaffected by her pressure and calmly approached their table.
Her reaction was justified because she could sense that the other party was not a cultivator so there should not be a way for him to guard himself against her pressure— unless the other party had an artifact or treasure of some kind, otherwise it should be impossible— but that is also impossible as someone like that would not be working as a server in a restaurant.
Although her cultivation was only in the [Spirit Apprentice Realm], for a mortal who has not yet cultivated they should not be able to resist her pressure.
As she was lost in her thought, the young boy approached their table with a calm expression on his face, he looked at the panicked waitress before solemnly speaking.
"Esteemed customers, do you need any help?" He paused a moment while gesturing at the Waitress before continuing, "My fellow worker here is new— she may not know how to better serve you— distinguished individuals, so you can leave everything to me." He finished speaking with a smile on his face as he ushered the panicked waitress to take her leave, she breathed a sigh of relief before proceeding to walking away in wide strides like a scared rabbit.
After the waitress left, Shenyan proceeded to waited for the two customers to respond.
The young girl who was in a daze suddenly came to her senses before replying. "We will have to trouble you then—" she said as she proceeded to list out the food on the menu that she would like to be ordered. After taking their orders, Shenyan then asked if they would like any beverage as they wait for their orders and after receiving their answer as 'no need', he then left to take care of their orders.
"Who was that boy?" The young girl could not help but speak loudly as she watched Shenyan walk away, thinking about what happened just now.
The armored guard suddenly frown before saying "What do you mean, Young miss?" He did not know why his young miss was suddenly interested in some bumpkin such as that young boy just now.
"Did you not notice that he was unaffected by my spirit pressure just now?" The young girl replied.
The armored guard was still confused for a while before suddenly realizing the matter, now that he thought about it, that was strange, how is possible for a nobody to withstand the spirit pressure from a cultivator— especially if they are not cultivators themselves or have a higher realm than his young miss. Unless that kid was a hidden cultivator— but that is also impossible as he cannot sense any Spirit energy coming from him.
The young girl noticed the pondering look on the guard's face and said, "No need to think too much, I was only curious, nothing to make you worry about," she said to him and thought for a moment before continuing "There are different kinds of people in this world who have special physiques— maybe he is one of them."
Hearing the explanation from his 'young miss', the guard only nodded his head without saying anything. Not long after that, the ordered foods were carried over to their table one by one and the young girl proceeded to eat while the armored guard stood behind watching over her.
It was at this time, that everyone who were watching everything calmed down their minds. Since a while ago, they were worried about whether they would be implicated in the situation that happened just now but seeing that the young girl was eating her food happily, they all let out a sigh of relief as they felt like they had escaped their doom.
One had to know, that was the young miss of the Leng family and the Leng family are the rulers of this city— if they provoked someone like that they would not know where to hide so they were very happy that the situation was calm down by that young boy just now.
