Chapter 2 - Chapter Two - Amanda

"Mr. Aleister The Hunter, Will you please join my group The Crimson Slayers?" says Amanda Salvatari.

"What the? Why the? Who the hell are you?" I ask being very caught off guard by this strange girl.

"Oh, sorry" she says very sincerely. "I guess introductions are in order" Amanda says. "Hi, my name is Amanda and I'm a member of the mercenary group called The Crimson Slayers who like you hunt demons for a living! And I just think that you'd make for a great fit on our team" she says very very fast. "So please, will you join our team?" Amanda says with a lovely smile going across her face.

"No!!!" I shouted at her. Then I walked away.

"Why?" She asks me following me while I'm trying to leave the tavern she approached me in.

"Because I work alone" I exclaimed. Amanda still following me as I go out the door of the tavern says "Come on, you haven't even met the other Crimson Slayers yet". I keep walking and she keeps following and talking to me trying to convince me to meet the other members of her group. After minutes of her following me nonstop I finally say "Fine, I'll meet the other members of your god damn group but then when I say no I don't want to join your dumb little group after meeting them, you have to leave me alone. Deal."

Amanda agrees to the terms and tells me that the rest of the Crimson Slayers are on the second floor of the tavern. So we head back to the tavern where I am going to meet the other members. We get back in the Tavern and before we go upstairs I stop and ask Amanda "Why me? You know the reputation I have right? So why choose me to join your group"? I don't even know why I care or why I even asked her that question. It just happened to slip out of my mouth. She looks at me with a smile and says "Two reasons, Number one you're super strong going on all those high level demon hunts on your own, and Number two you don't seem so scary like how people describe you, you just seem misunderstood like me". What she just said almost made me happy for some reason. I also then pondered as we went upstairs to meet her group what misconceptions do people have about her. She seems like a very positive and outgoing person from our limited interactions today. But oh well that'll be a question to be answered another time. We arrive to the second floor and it's now time for me to meet the rest of these Crimson Slayers.
