Derek peeked out of his window and saw a young man crossing the street who by what he could see, had seemed to be around his age. The young man's dark blue hair resembled one of his best friend's mothers before his mouth flew open at the sight of his impeccable gray and dark blue combat gear that he wore. Amell held a curious expression on his face as he watched the young man journey across the street beside his nephew. "There is no way that is his apprentice?!" The matured Wiley questioned aloud with no further context, leaving the boys lost. Derek and Alec fixed their gazes towards Amell yet he kept his eyes planted on the young man in the pristine combat equipment entering the fine Italian restaurant. Amell kept his chin resting on his knuckles as he looked up at the silent young man standing in front of him and his nephews. "He left the small detail that he chose a child as his apprentice out of bringing me up to date with the academy." Amell commented as the unfriendly faced apprentice tossed out his hand for a greeting. The fruity voiced apprentice displayed boredom on his face as he listened to Amell's further explanation. "He selected me, Luigi Caruso, believing the two of us to be living Lemon chiffon anomalies to protect what we can against the hordes of the lawless god and the realms of monsters who invade us." Luigi introduced and asserted towards his master's uninformed nephew. Amell fixed his sight into his uncle's apprentice's dark blue eyes. Derek noticed his uncle's eyes gleamed a slight silver glow as he had been left as confused as Alec. "What was that shiny glow in your eye, unc?!" He inquired with obvious shock in the question as he stood up. He backed away slightly when he noticed the young man who called himself Luigi Caruso surveyed him up and down with his hand covering his mouth. Amell took another bite of his order. "I made this introduction and greeting tougher than it needed to be. Escort us to the academy— I need a quick back and forth with the acting headmaster." The matured Wiley blurted with more politeness and calm in his tone as he prepared his legs for the walk. Luigi shook his head with disapproval. "I've only known him since I was half a decade old but even I know how futile your chat with him will be, Unc." Luigi Caruso replied after rolling his eyes. Alec and Derek looked at each other after seeing their uncle Amell's expression give the impression that his worldview was shattered. The apprentice of the Onoria academy's headmaster guided and escorted the wayfaring trio to their destination. Halting the apprentice and his nephews at the academy's yard, Amell politely requested that Luigi give Derek and Alec a tour of the grounds and internal as he speaks with his uncle in private. Luigi expresses his reluctance before peeking up and down towards Derek once more and agrees with his request. Amell briefly gave the request a second thought after noticing Luigi scanning his nephew before finding a sense of confidence in his nephew and confronting his uncle. As the headmaster of Onoria academy entered his office from its bathroom, no surprise came to him when he found his nephew Amell squatting on his desk. Derek and Alec were somehow pulled into a competition of outstaring Luigi as he seemingly refused to remove his eyes away from Derek paying Alec no mind with his hand covering his mouth. Luigi was sniffing his index finger while he had been in thought trying to make sense of a question he had since the childhood stories he's been told. "You're the son planning to succeed the late but great Mist-Affliction someday?" Luigi asked with a skeptical tone. The apprentice noticed the youthful Wiley's silence that spoke for itself next to the slight guilt that he detected on his face. Alec glanced away momentarily before setting his eyes back on Luigi with an enthusiastic shout after the silence went on too long and awkward for him. "He's the son that's destined to make him proud and surpass his father in every facet of heroism— so, how about we first make sure we've got that, right yeah?" He replied as he stepped in closer and in front of his best friend. Luigi slowly fixed his gaze towards Alec instead after he had his back until he broke out in laughter that was filled with mockery. "You two deserve this tour. This way." Luigi replied before gesturing to follow and with a tone that overcame Alec's expectation. Louis Wiley smiled as he laid his chin on his chest and held his eyes shut recollecting the days his nephew fought next to him for the academy and the city. "The theatrical child out of my brother's kids—" Louis commented before he was interrupted by the silver fox Wiley. Amell walked off of his uncle's desk before he pounded his fist on it and broke it in half. "No matter how much I progress into adulthood, you don't see me ever outgrowing that part of my childhood and I never saw you recruiting someone as young as him into this path. One where even the epitome of talent doesn't make it for very long?! Care to reconcile that?!" Amell finished for him and questioned his uncle. Louis sat down in his chair before holding out an open palm with his right hand conjuring a cloud of smoke which a bottle filled with a strange substance dropped down through and grabbed it out of the air with his left. "I care to drink my sour stress reliever, Philly junior. Rest." The headmaster of the academy replied with a whispery tone towards the end while his conjured smoke was quickly easing its way towards his silver-fox nephew. Amell tossed his index and middle finger up next to his ear forcing his elderly uncle's vast cloud of smoke to disperse. "Take this seriously." Amell shouted as smoke was flowing from his shoulders and thighs. The headmaster of the academy chuckled nervously. "Most folks never have their lemon chiffon essence awakened while others like you are fortunate enough to have professionals assist us in a process— very few like myself are almost seemingly divinely chosen as a living catalyst but that kid— Amell." The elderly Wiley responded with no humor detected in his tone by the silver-fox Wiley. Amell found himself lost towards what father's brother was going to say next since he abruptly paused. "On with it, you elderly undisciplined Vanquisher!" Enraged, Amell shouted as he approached his uncle. As he held a distraught expression unlike his usual stoney mien. "He can awaken, brighten or dim our essence and tests predict that he has the potential to do so against an army with the proper guidance. He can't be human. He has to be an essence born or the child of one?!" Louis informed the silver-fox leaving him speechless.
