Crickets sounded with laughter from below the entertainment island in the heavens' palace that Jacob and Amell were laying on the rooftop of while staring up at the starry night. Amell conjured smoke and shaped it into the shape of an acronym before he moved it in front of his older brother. Jacob thought about the possibilities of its meaning for a moment. "I didn't do exceptionally well. There were twenty-five elites from the nation of Niwri who attacked us. I performed far too slowly. Inefficient and ineffective. almost lost an arm." Jacob replied as he held his usual blank expression with his resting on his hands. Amell called his conjured smoke to return to him and brushed it aside. "—But you didn't and you ultimately saved us, guy!" Philip's youngest, Amell shouted with relief in his tone. Jacob tapped his foot as he shook his head. "It took me nearly four minutes and half of my effort to dispatch the minions. We survived lord Dia-Rago's pitiful ambush but it was a failure on my end." Jacob replied before he crossed his arms. Amell shaped the smoke into eight figures of men. "You're actually serious about aiming large and surpassing the other Patriarchs to become A.D.J's second when you return to the states, aren't you?" Jacob's youngest brother asked rhetorically. Jacob held silent for a moment. "Don't think that I can do it?" He asked with his own tone of curiosity. Amell let out a slight chuckle. "Trying to be blunt here. The next heirs of the other families is your competition. Rhett Pendold, his versatility and authority over that cube is horrifying. Ryom Throndson, he transforms his lemon chiffon into lightning and strengthens himself enough to become the physically mightiest out of all of us. Caleb Hayes and his usage of our lemon chiffon to connect to the cosmos is baffling. Ray Manchester and his expertise regarding that family's abilities to just— nerf his opponents making him almost untouchable. Cullen Jepson, he's obliterated the limits mastering three different styles, Empowerment, connection and conjuration with that hair-curling storybook that his father left him. Kaden Williams: World's greatest Detective, commissions to solve cases from all over the world. Hyun Sun-Jin is no match for any of us right now, he's still struggling to grasp his family's ashes but I'll stay confident that he'll surpass all of our expectations one day. We can only hope." Amell recapped for himself as he pondered further regarding his brother's question. Jacob tapped his foot as he held his chin with three fingers. "Why'd you leave for a few years?" The Patriarch of JinJunyë asked with his monotone voice. Silence broke out between the brothers for a few minutes. Amell's smile faded as the dawn of his training had appeared on his mind as he watched a star in the night sky twinkle. "I'm not above falling prey to society's favorite motive, J." He answered as he pulled out a butterscotch flavored sucker. Jacob turned his gaze towards his younger brother with an expression of surprise shown. "Seriously?" He asked, holding his shock. Amell finished his sucker before grabbing out another from his bag. "Of you, of your knack for combat, of your effortless charm to gain the city's favor— of your relationship with Tae-Lee especially." Amell admitted further before enjoying his sucker. Jacob side-eyed him after his younger brother's final confession. Amell shook his hands and his head in denial of what figured that he meant. Jacob trusted his brother's gestures. "I'm curious what this training did for you. We should spar pretty soon." The defender of JinJunyë requested before silence grew between the brothers on the palace roof. Gregorius laughed until he began choking and coughing from his beer. Everyone in the dining hall ceased their noise and the room stood silent as the young duo felt awkward with everybody's eyes planted on the trio. Derek and Alec noticed Gregorius and Amell glaring at one another for a couple of seconds before they began approaching each other. Derek and Alec prepared themselves until the older duo fist bumped. Amell grabbed a beer offered by one of his buddy's subordinates. "Man, I've definitely missed partying with you, Grego." Derek and Alec heard from the middle aged wayfarer. The beer gobbling stranger that the duo saw laughing with the wayfaring uncle had looked towards Derek and Alec before spitting out his drink. "Yo Mell, did you finally grow up and take on raising kids, old friend?!" Gregorius asked with a genuinely curious mien. The wayfaring Wiley and the recruiter of the talent filled floating entertainment in the heavens bursted out with laughter at the notion of the traveling uncle having children. Amell wiped the tears from his eyes. "They're at home with their mother, this is my nephew and his hilarious homie." The wayfaring friend of his revealed. Gregorius drank more of his beer and spat it out then wiped it off his mouth though some got into his lengthy beard. "Evidence or I'll assume you're attempting to get me to shit myself." Gregorius shouted as the idea made him chuckle further. Amell reached into his bag as his pal's eyes opened wider while he was at it. The Wayfaring Wiley grabbed a photo of a child and handed it over to his eldest friend. "Yeah. We're not much of an ordinary family. Some complications with a woman I've known for ages who can stand my traveling, we've adopted." Amell admitted to his own best friend. Gregorius' eyes reached as far as they could stretch before he grabbed his much teenier friend and lifted him off his feet with a great yet gentle hug. "Couldn't care less about the situation you're caught up in, I'm just happy for ya, Irmão!" Shouted the head of the entertainment in the skies as he put Amell down and patted him. Amell shook his head and fixed his hair. "Enough about me, all of this is about cheering up my nephew, I've got enough to pay—!" Yet he was interrupted by the head himself as he asked a question turned towards Derek. Gregorius grinned. "We've got a battle of the bands event tomorrow but for right now, choose an instrumental showcase you want to visit, Piano or Violin?" Gregorius asked the young Wiley heir.
