The next time Liling opened her eyes, she looked at the ceiling and realized that she was in a room. Looking around the room, she caught sight of the three who were talking in low voices so that they don't wake her. "Jing Yue," she called and they looked at her. "My love, how are you feeling?" Jing Yue asked as he rushed to the bed. "Dizzy, weak and thirsty," she replied and Li Fei hurriedly got her a glass of water from the table.
She sat up and leaned against the headrest then drank half of the water. Giving back the glass to her, she asked," What happened? Why am I here?" "You fainted earlier,"Li Fei informed her. "Oh. I didn't know it was that serious," she said. Seeing the situation, Li Fei thought that the two needed some space and she walked to Jin Liwei before the two left the room.
"Are you feeling any pain?" asked Jing Yue as he checked her body to see if she had any fever. "No," she replied. "The doctor checked up on you," he told her, sitting with her on the bed. "What did he say?" she asked. "You won't believe it," he said. "What?" "You are carrying our baby Liling. You're pregnant," he said. She looked at him and a while later, she said," Don't joke with me Jing Yue." "I'm more than serious Liling. You're pregnant," he told her. "Me Pregnant? Is it possible?" she asked. "Yes it is. The doctor just confirmed it," he said. As realisation hit her, tears filled her eyes and she whispered," So it is true." "Absolutely," he said. "Finally," she said as she looked at her belly. He inched closer and hugged her tightly then said," We've finally done it my love."

"Congratulations dear. I'm so happy for you," said Li Fei the moment she came in.
"Thank you. I'm more than happy. I can't believe it. It's like a dream," she said. "I knew it would happen. I'm so glad," she said taking a seat next to her. "But, I don't feel pregnant at all. I don't feel anything," she said. "You will start getting changes with time. But how are you feeling?" "I'm alright. I don't feel anything," she replied.
As they were still talking, the door was opened and Li Mei came in with a tray of food.
"Nutritious food for the mother to be," she announced before closing the door behind her. "Congratulations dear," she said placing it on the table.
"Thank you Ms Li Mei," replied Liling with a wide grin. "It's time for you to eat something," she told her. "Thank you so much Ms Li Mei," she said. "You don't have to thank me," she told her. She nodded and started eating the food.
When she got done with the food, Li Mei suggested that they spend the night at the mansion instead of going back to the hotel which Liling accepted.
Jing Yue came in and told Liling that his parents wanted to congratulate and talk to her on phone.
"We shall take our leave now. Have a good night," said Ms Li Mei and the two left the room.
"Where's Lian?" Li Mei asked Li Fei when they got out. "She must be in our room sleeping," she replied. "I will let you go tend to your husband. He must be hungry right now," she said and Li Fei blushed.
Li Mei walked towards her own bedroom and Li Fei continued to the one that was prepared for them.
Reaching inside, she heard Jin Liwei in the bathroom and she looked around for the baby's crib but it wasn't there.
She undressed and got in the towel then waited on the bed. When he came back, she looked at him and asked," Where's Lian?"
"My parents have her. They wanted us to have the night all to ourselves," he said and a slight blush appeared on her cheeks. "Okay. I will take a bath and come back later," she said getting up and when she reached him, he got hold of her hand, pulling her to him. "What is it?" she asked him. "Let me come and give you company in the bathroom," he suggested.
"No. I will be right back," she said well knowing that it was beyond that. "I insist. Let us go," he said leading her to the bathroom.
The next day in the morning when Li Fei went to Liling's room, she noticed the dark circles that were below her eyes. "You didn't sleep well?" she asked. "Honestly, I couldn't sleep," she said. "Why? Were you in pain?" she asked. "No it's not that. I was so excited. I couldn't sleep in fear of waking up and realizing that it was all a dream," she said before asking," Is it true that I Liling, am pregnant? That I am going to get a baby of my own?" "Yes. You are going to be a mother."
"That calls for a celebration," she said grinning. "You want a party?" asked Li Fei.
"I don't think so. We can just go out to eat. The four of us, what do you think?" "I think it is a good idea. We surely have to go out and celebrate," she replied. "Alright then. We shall go out for dinner then," she suggested. "I will work on the reservations. You don't have to worry about that," said Li Fei. "I'm going to love my child. I'm going to treasure it," she said. "I know. There's no doubt that you're going to be the best mother in the whole world." "You think so?" she asked. "Of course," she replied.
In the evening, the four made way to the hotel where they were going to dine in celebration. Reaching the table, each of the men pulled out seats for their women and they sat. Waiting for the food as they were conversing, Liling looked at Jing Yue and asked," My love, when are we going to shop for the baby's things?" "Come on Liling. It's so soon," replied Li Fei. "Really?" she asked.
"Yes. You have to consider buying them when you're at least four months," Li Fei said. "But I don't mind buying them now. It's still the same to me," she said.
